As far as I know, no one has been there and back to tell about it other than Dante Alighieri and even his account of it--written over 700 years ago--is questionable. If I was there, I'd start a singalong with the other souls who were waiting. We'd probably get loud and get ourselves kicked out early.
If Purgatory in fact exists (doubtful) you could try repenting from your sins while you're there. Couldn't hurt.

Purgatory is not Biblical. This was started by the Roman Catholic Church to get more of your money. You could buy someones salvation. The same with infant baptism. You could pay for your child to get into heaven and this is contrary to what St. Peter preached on Pentecost.

This problem did not floor out of nowhere. toddlers study from their moms and dads. in case you and her mom did not take Catholicism heavily -- in simple terms went by the motions, not at all said some thing with her, not at all taught her the WHYs in the back of what we do as Catholics, not at all enable her ask questions and get solutions, not at all had kin prayers and decreased the cost of religion to easily Mass on Sunday and one hour of CCD with an detached/boring/untrained instructor -- then you taught her that Catholicism is optionally obtainable. Scolding her can not do you any reliable. You did not do your job in raising this baby to charm to close and love Jesus and to charm to close and love the Church, and there is not any quick restore. easily, she ought to no longer be shown because she's thoroughly perplexed and would not comprehend the Catholic faith in any respect. She's were given some effect in college from non-D acquaintances who're apparently a recommendations extra knowledgeable, a recommendations extra in love with Jesus and far extra enthusiastic about their faith than you and your spouse are about Catholicism. in case you pick to compete with that, you'll have attain interior your self, locate your own love and exuberance, and percentage it with your daughter. it is going to take time. you've truly some catching as a lot as do. commence with prayer. Do a kin study (all of you jointly) -- you could %. off the immediately ahead such issues as purgatory (it really is Biblical), calling monks father and all her different lawsuits and then grow to be the more suitable themes. Get some help out of your priest. he will be extremely joyful that your household is finally attempting to take faith heavily.

I thought purgatory was no longer taught in the Catholic church. Wasn't that one of the recent changes they made? You just gotta keep updated with those changes!

purgatory is believed to be a place that you go to pay for your sins before you go to heaven. it is not a true place. whats the point of going there if Jesus already paid for our sins? Jesus didn't just die for nothing. he PAID FOR OUR SINS. pergatory is a made up place, its not true. it doesn't mention in it the Bible anywhere either.
