No, Sin can not be anywhere near God

God can never sin.Because He is incapable of committing a sin.Because sin means transgression of the law (1 Jn 3:4).God cannot transgress the law because those laws He created were not meant for Him but for unrighteous men (1Tim 1:9). And mind you,the incapability of God to sin doesn't diminish Him even 1 bit. Another thing, He is the SOURCE OF ALL GOODNESS (James 1:17) and not unrighteousness. Also nowhere in the bible can it be found that God can sin.

God in his Glory cannot sin, but when he became man he was in a flesh body that could be tempted.

He would not choose to sin simply because it is against his nature, just like as a man I cannot choose to be a woman. No matter how many surgeries I have, I will still be a man.

The people who answered "No" or "He wouldn't choose to" are obviously putting limitations on a being they refer to as "omnipotent." An all-powerful being who is incapable of doing or choosing to do an action is not all-powerful.

However, they also forget that it was their God who created the differentiation between sinful actions and unsinful actions, and with his omnipotence has the power to change what he deems "sinful" at anytime.

If God said, RIGHT NOW, that it was immoral and sinful to NOT kill newborn babies, then it WOULD be immoral and sinful to not kill them because His word is Law.

If you retort that God would not allow that to take place because God is good and would never allow an immoral action like that to be moral, then you accept that God is not necessary for morals to exist and contradict the idea that He created Everything since it would mean the the idea of morals controlled God before He decided how man should act, and that there is something more powerful than He is.

God is good, sin is evil, so why would God chose to sin?

sin defines un- righteous works,, you know,. things that are not good and have harmful consequences. God defines sin out of love and not to condem like the bigots love to do .

Im sure he could choose it, but why would he ?

God wouldn't have to. He created everything. And for some reason, he created sin. He could make to where it dosn't exist. And where he is there is no sin. He wouldn't have to.

Read the OT. You may notice he does it many times.

In The NT, he does the sin thing with Mary too, as she is not married to him, and he impregnates her [regardless of whether or not he has sex.]
