Muslim hatred of the Jews is quite evident, and Judaism contains the roots of Christianity.

Additionally, what are the irreconcilable differences between Islam and Christianity?

In conclusion, what circumstances or resolutions would enable these two religions to coexist in equality, liberty, and peace (regardless of religion)?

(yes, I am one of the two religions, but my mind is open and I am impartial at this moment)

Ok christians let me ask you a question. If there were absolute facts to prove your whole religion is a false one. I know we haven't done that yet 100 percent but just say it was proven ok. Would you still believe in your faith or the fact?

I find that when I meet a new friend, if I find out they are a Christian I feel closed off. In my past experience, being a TRUE Christian means that they have to believe they have the only right way and others are wrong. I have had some Christian friends that never tried to change or save me, but I still am convinced that I am judged, as I am so famliar from my past with their beliefs. When you meet a Christian that says they 'accept' you and don't need you saved or changed, do you also feel confused?

A few years back, I was driving home on a country road, lost control of my car in a curve and flipped several times,,, I was pinned in the car and could smell gas ....five minutes or so went by and a blue pickup stopped, a man pulled me from the car ( I had a dislocated shoulder and fractured ankle) and told me not to worry help would be coming soon...he smiled and left very quickly...driving west, vey soon another truck heading east came by stopped and called 911. ....the car burst into flames....the police and paramedics arrived, I asked the driver of the second pickup if he knew who the guy in the blue pickup truck was...he said he didn't see another truck and had arrive only minutes after the first truck left. they had to have passed each other....anyway the guy saved my life and I will always believe he was an Angel....Has anyone ever had a experience simliar or believe you had contact with a angel????

I know he was Muslim but I heard that he believed he was like Allah (Stagfurallah), which can NEVER be true. Did he try to make his own type of Islamic belief?

Last night, my sister had an encounter with some evil spirits or something. She said that she woke up, got out of bed, and grabbed someone's arms. These arms were cold, she said. She got shoved back onto the bed, and she went into a seizure-like state. Her eyes were rolling back in her head, etc. She said that she felt arms around her, and a voice like mine telling her that everything was going to be okay. This, I'm assuming, was a Godly spirit. She remembers every detail of what happened, she can remember everything. She said that she could remember what the first spirit was wearing. she remembered that it's face was completely black. I need y'all's opinions or information on what you may think this may have been. It wasn't a dream. If you need more information to be able to come up with a conclusion, feel free to e-mail me at any time. Please help me figure out what came into contact with my little sister last night.

I recently came across this site that promotes a women's book and the concept of Ijtihad, which is independent thought in Islam. It is to restore Islam's tradition of critical thinking and to reform Islam.
So my brothers and sisters, do you agree that Muslim needs to be reformed? I think the followers of Islam (the ones who give us a bad name) need to reform to the true way of Islam. Do you think this is a good cause? I like the concept of Ijithad, because it promotes education, which is one of Allah's commands to educate ourselves.

have been highly resourceful. I might not agree with your arguments but you engage me in highly intelligent and provocative real discussions on Christianity. And, in main, you just ignore questions meant to raise temperatures. Thanks for knowing the difference and for genuinely sharing your understanding of your faith with me and others!

I mean, if you study history, this period in "culture" is no different, and in many ways, somewhat better, than any other period in time. So whats the big to do?

I saw an answer today that said this "the bible has too many errors (hundreds, as well as internal contradictions) to be taken as an authority on anything."

I would like some proof of the "as well as internal contradictions". I'm not saying it isn't true and I'm not asking for a yes or no answer to it being true of false. I would just like examples to discuss with friends.

I'm a bisexual Christian, and I've been trying to prove a point that the Bible is a book about God, not a book about human sexual orientation. You can see an example of my point here:
http://www.soulforce.org/article/homosexuality-bible-gay-christian

I don't plan to change my beliefs because of any answers, I would just like to make a point that the meaning of the Bible has changed throughout time and what's right and what's wrong changes with scientific truth.

Please give as many examples of "internal contradictions" of the Bible, including where they can be found and quotes if possible. Most is best...

Okay, I'm in the process of writing a book on religions of the world. What are the different religions in the world? How do they differ from one another? What are their belief systems? Who (what) do they worship? I would like imput from people of different religions. Why do you worship they way you do? This is not meant to be a who's better then who discussion, I'm just trying to get a good baring on my subjects. Please be completely honest and open. What are the rituals of your religion? When do you meet? What does your holy book say? Do you have a holy book? Any information I should know to truthfully write on your religion.
