checklist to determine if one is the devil...
1. do you have cloven hoves rather than feet?
2. do you have a tail with a rather dangerous looking point at the end?
3. do you have horns growing out of your head?
4. does your skin have an unnatural red color?
5. do you own a trident from which you can shoot hellfire?
6. do people appear before you confused becasue someone just told them to "go to hell" and the nexst thing they knew they were in your room?
7. is your room actually a caverous space filled with sulfer fires and burning rock with the sounds of tormented souls wailing in the background?
IF you can answer yes to at least 5 of those questions then you might be the devil (or at the very least a minion of said devil). If not...then most likely you are not and should cease to concern yourself with the matter.

This is kind of a strange question. Satan knows full well who he is - why would you think that you may or may not be the devil? Do you also think you may or may not be your next door neighbor, or do you think you may or may not be the Mayor of New York? How do you know that you are not any of these? Because you know who you are (unless you have amnesia?)
Satan knows who is he; he is a separate entity just like you, or your next door neighbor, or the Mayor of New York.

Well, you would be a fallen angel who used to lead worship in Heaven until you got uppity and got your butt kicked out by the Archangel Michael during a war. You would have been defeated by Jesus on the Cross on Calvary and had to cough up the keys of hell and death. Hmmm.. is that REALLY who you want to be, my friend?
