Muslim hatred of the Jews is quite evident, and Judaism contains the roots of Christianity.
Additionally, what are the irreconcilable differences between Islam and Christianity?
In conclusion, what circumstances or resolutions would enable these two religions to coexist in equality, liberty, and peace (regardless of religion)?
(yes, I am one of the two religions, but my mind is open and I am impartial at this moment)

I am interested in this Jesus-bad guy cross replacement theory. Where does that come from?
I interested in Muslim intentions and dispositions toward Christianity as a religion. With Muslim violence against Christians being highlighted by the most recent report: http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L13256156.htm

the absolutely amazingly baffling thing about the hatred between Muslims, Christians and Jews is all semantics.....
When the Jews went on the exodus to Israel, two of the twelve tribes did not enter the promised land, they became the early Muslims. All three religions acknowledge Jesus but in different ways. The Muslims and Jews see Jesus as a prophet, not the messiah or son of God. Christians do, so if you want to get technical, they are all part of the same ancient religion (Judaism) that came up with different ideologies and dogmas....
Its like cousins fighting over how cool thier grandpa is. 2 of them say he is okay, but not the greatest, and 1 thinks that he is God himself. Get over it, look past the differences and get along already.

The main differences Muslims and Christians have is that:
1. Muslims don't believe in the trinity (a 3-part god, Jesus being one part). Muslims believe that there is only one god.
2. Muslims don't believe Jesus died on the cross, rather he was replaced with a bad man who looked like him and deserved to die. Then, Jesus was brought to heaven, which was his miracle. (Muslims believe every prophet had a miracle) He will come back on earth in due time, though.
3. Muslims believe that Muhammed was the last prophet who spread Islam, while Christians believe he didn't exist.
4. Muslims believe their Quran came directly from god and is pure, without any mistakes. (this is NOT including the hadith, which does have some mistakes because people wrote them down) Christians say that there are mistakes in their Bible.
Cheers and I hope that helped!

Two Major Fundamental Differences.
1. Muslims believe the Qur'an is the inspired Word of God and is perfect without any error and trumps the Bible.
2. Muslims believe that Muhammed was a prophet of God.

Apostasy is a big one because in nations ruled by Shariah law leaving Islam is punished by death. Christians will just try to convince you harder. In pakistan, afghanistan, sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Comoros and Iran the government will kill you for leaving the faith. In most other muslim nations your family will do it. Even Turkey which is the only democratic Muslim nation without any Shariah in the government honor killings are approved of by around 40% of the population. Kind of makes it hard for Christians to gain respect when they are murdered for disagreeing.

i am with you that what happens is rude but let me tell you when your baby killed by a gun of solider because he throw a stone...i remember that once a baby hit me, i left him because he was a baby, imagine that your house is been raped...that what Jews did to Muslims in Palestine...for a long time not from this century...and prophet Mohamed said it in its meaning that the Jews and Muslims will be war until the judgment day and he was right even he didn't knew the future because no one knew it except Allah...once i talked to a Jew man on chatting, i told him why do you kill children? he answered because they throw stone...i asked and why do you take Palestine he answered because Prophet mosa lived in it or spend a period of time on it ....i told him that Jesus was born in it...he said yes...i told him if like that so Egypt will be all Jews because of Prophet Mosa and Palestine will be all christian because of Jesus and Saudi Arabia will be all Muslims because of Prophet Mohamed...he said yes then the chat was over..what i want to say that every religion may cover on the previous religion like people was Christians even after Jesus came with his miracle, some regions preferred to be its majority any religion but don't rape a region and make it yours right?....the different between Islam and Christianity that we Muslims believe in one God = Allah and christian believe that Jesus, Father, and i don't know the third = God that's all

In Islam, we do not believe in the Trinity nor do we believe that Jesus Christ was the savior. We also believe that he did not die on the cross. We believe that he was replaced by a Jew on the cross. We also believe that the cross was not a "t", we believe it was "T". There are also more differences between Islam and Judiasm.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's diety;
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His resurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says : "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

Jesus is not God.
that's basically the only difference.
God is one and does not have 3 beings to him.
