Last night, my sister had an encounter with some evil spirits or something. She said that she woke up, got out of bed, and grabbed someone's arms. These arms were cold, she said. She got shoved back onto the bed, and she went into a seizure-like state. Her eyes were rolling back in her head, etc. She said that she felt arms around her, and a voice like mine telling her that everything was going to be okay. This, I'm assuming, was a Godly spirit. She remembers every detail of what happened, she can remember everything. She said that she could remember what the first spirit was wearing. she remembered that it's face was completely black. I need y'all's opinions or information on what you may think this may have been. It wasn't a dream. If you need more information to be able to come up with a conclusion, feel free to e-mail me at any time. Please help me figure out what came into contact with my little sister last night.

it does sound like an evil spirit. i dont know what the one that sounded like you is. it could have been an angel she saw. and she associated it with you because you make her feel safe.

either a hallucination or demons. There are no ghosts as in spirits of departed people because the Bible says that " the dead are concious of nothing"
Ecclesiastes 9: 5 & 6: "5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun."
However, the mind is a powerful thing, and can really play tricks on us, but then demons are very powerful as well. I have had dreams and been so sure that it was real that I woke up and it took some time before I realized that it had been only a dream. I could swear that I had actually felt things and heard or said things, that I only dreamed.

Don't believe what wannaknow said, your sister could have seen a spirit there are many people and Prophets that have see evil spirit such as Samuel 16:23
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. Since the bible tells us that people in the past have seen evil spirits we can also see evil spirits. The other spirit was most likely a spirit from god. Tell her next time if she sees a evil spirit to put her right hand up and say " in the name of Jesus Christ I ask you to depart" if anyone says that to a good or bad spirit that have to leave.
There was one time that I was laying in bed and I seen a evil spirit like the one you described I tried to yell for help but i could not talk, I couldn't even move. since I could not raise my right hand I said it inside my mind, I prayed to god to take the evil spirit away and it worked. Tell her to pray about it. good luck and I will pray for her.

I can honestly say that this is very wierd the only thing that I can think of is that she could have almost died and the spirits were there to take her....other than that I dont know...i can tell you of an experience that I had... I was having some trouble with my little girl and just didnt ask God for His help and I was woken in a dream and God was telling me to bring it to Him but I never felt a arm or see any faces.....

That is totally freaky. Assuming your sister is telling the truth and isn't on any hallucinogenic drugs and isn't insane, it sounds a lot like reports of alien abductions. Have her check to see if there are any marks, cuts, etc on her body. If it is a "Godly spirit" it doesn't sound like the good kind. You'll need an old priest, and a young priest.

Darling, are you a Christian? What has happened to your sister as you explain wasn’t nothing from hell, or anything death. I believe some one is scaring your little sister, for whatever reason, a joke or something like that. If your sister is in shock due to that, I suggest you to read the >Bible, and please go to a good preaching Bible Church. I pray for you and your well being. Remember this > the deads do not do anything, to that there is to have to them fear is to the alive ones.

She should see a Neurologist for a thorough exam to rule out seizure or tumor. I have seen such things brought patients into the hospital where diagnosis was made and lives made better or saved.

it stops us acting out our dreams
but if we wake to soon or it is released too soon
then we feel that paralysis

The evil spirit represents the retraints of ignorance and the black garments are the darkness ignorance entraps us in; the calming spirit is the spirit of truth that enlightens us.
Ignorance is blunt force and easily obtained. Truth is power beyond comprehension that is hard sought.

It wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare.

It sounds real to me but I have seen those things happen. The dark figure should have been all black with no features. It sounds like she is finding her place with God because that usually stirs the demons up!! It sure did with me!! And if you are mocking Christians, I stand behind the things I've seen. @8-)
