That is absolutely NOT true.

The new coins will have both familiar inscriptions we have come to expect to find on all US Coinage: "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We Trust."

Good question to stir the pot, but truly bogus story.
As all money being printed has rules, and I saw it's on the edge in a TV story.
I'd remember a: take the phrase "in GOD we trust" off money story if it were aired, man what a fight that would cause. Again.

No, it is printed on the edge of the coin, a practice that USED to be common and then fell out of favor.

I don't know, but did you know that the coins we spend with "In God We Trust" is talking about the Sun God?

As much as I would like this to be true, it's not.

"In God We Trust" will be printed in a new spot on the coin... along the side.

On my payment cards there is an electronic chip and no reference to God or other fairy tale characters. Same thing on the euro coins and bills.

It is on the edge, but not the face.
