Leviticus 1:3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

Leviticus 1:9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Leviticus 1:10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

Leviticus 1:13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Leviticus 1:14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

Leviticus 1:17 And he shall cleave it with the win

Why do you think that because you find something gross, it's wrong? Why can't you let people be themselves, as long as they aren't hurting anybody? Why, for heaven's sake, can you not respect diversity?

Before you tell me you DO respect diversity, look at my other questions.

Hypocrites!

LOL

...compromises with and concessions to its [Israel's] enemies persuades Al Qaeda that Israel is "unworthy of fulfilling God’s covenant with the Jews?"

It frankly shocked me learning what Al Qaeda actually believes regarding the “land of Israel” and the Jewish people. This analysis report is evidence that Al Qaeda believes the following regarding the land of Israel and the Jewish people:

-God (Allah) gave the Jewish people an eternal covenant with the “Promised Land”.

-That “contract” between God and the Jewish people has been abrogated only because Israel has not determined enough to “defeat its enemies in obedience to God.”

Please read the following translated excerpts from the Al Qaeda analysis and tell me ‘why or why not’ it changes your view of the ‘dynamic’ in the Middle East (with regards to Israel’s ‘right’ to the land) and whether it should continue to ‘appease’ its enemies by offering more land in ‘hope’ of peace.

Then why did he create Eve later?

Why did he realize that Adam was lonely and needed a female of his race to be a companion (mate) so they could reproduce? He would have known that need was there already, and made them at the same time!!!!

If God made man and woman to be heterosexual and procreate, why didn't he make them at the same time, instead of making Eve later, as an afterthought?

If he knows the future and the past, he would have already known that Adam needed a mate, and he would have made them at the same time. Not waiting until later, and then going "Oops, I guess I should have made a female mate out of dirt, too. I guess I'll have to make Eve out of one of Adam's ribs." Etc, etc...

How stupid do people need to be to believe this?
How crazy are you not to notice the glaring contradiction here? If God knew the past and the future, it makes the Adam and Eve story IMPOSSIBLE! Are you intelligent enough to realize that??

Another fatal flaw in bible "logic"

How many of you have noticed this?

Jacob's dream.
Genesis 28:12 "Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."

Jesus says:
John 1:51 "And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

Jesus is Jacob's ladder because he is the only way from earth to heaven.

Their parents tell them they are special. For example, dwarfism or if a person has Down Syndrome. Is this not just something that went wrong during the formation of the embryo? The world is not perfect yet.

before during and after the fact, would you object to him being in charge of your trial? God is supposedly with us from the day we're born until the day we die, influencing us every step of the way--how can he sit in pious judgement when he aided and abetted every sin we ever committed? In an actual court of law this would never be allowed to happen, because justice is served, but we're expected to believe that in the afterlife we will be judged by one who was a party to our crimes?

2007-02-25 05:42:57 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous

Long ago, someone gave me a piece of bamboo, that came from their plant. At the time, he told me that bamboo was meant to be shared, because it was in the sharing that _____ was supposed to happen. For the life of me, I don't remember what that _____ was. It seemed to be something about friendship, not just good luck. Does anybody have any info? Any links ? Anything would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
