...compromises with and concessions to its [Israel's] enemies persuades Al Qaeda that Israel is "unworthy of fulfilling God’s covenant with the Jews?"

It frankly shocked me learning what Al Qaeda actually believes regarding the “land of Israel” and the Jewish people. This analysis report is evidence that Al Qaeda believes the following regarding the land of Israel and the Jewish people:

-God (Allah) gave the Jewish people an eternal covenant with the “Promised Land”.

-That “contract” between God and the Jewish people has been abrogated only because Israel has not determined enough to “defeat its enemies in obedience to God.”

Please read the following translated excerpts from the Al Qaeda analysis and tell me ‘why or why not’ it changes your view of the ‘dynamic’ in the Middle East (with regards to Israel’s ‘right’ to the land) and whether it should continue to ‘appease’ its enemies by offering more land in ‘hope’ of peace.

The following quotes are translated excerpts from an Al Qaeda Arabic language analysis published in July 2005 (see source).

“Israel’s sin is, not ‘fearing God’. Israel lacks the faith to fight for the land God bequeathed it. The Jews are willing to compromise with God’s promise by giving up the land of Israel piece by piece.”

“God decided to test the Jews when they were still an oppressed people, while still captive in Egypt. God seeks to lead them to the path of faith and victory and therefore urges them to conquer the land of Israel. But, the Jews are unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices to achieve the goal. To this day the Jews have not learned that God grants victory only to those who struggle for victory. Throughout the generations, Jews unlike Muslims show they do not fear God or recognize Him as the ‘moving force’ in the universe, instead, they are more concerned with what ‘man’ thinks.” (cont.)

(cont.) “For this reason, the Jews find it easier to break the covenant between God and Abraham which awarded the land of Israel to the Jews forever.”

The report concludes,

“Israel’s willingness to compromise with its enemies is not only the reason for its [Al Qaeda’s] contempt against the Jewish state. It also gives the Arabs an opportunity to be God’s vehicle to destroy the Jews.”

It appears that Al Qaeda views itself as the ‘appointed’ (by God) destroyer of the Jewish people, not because they are ‘occupying Arab lands’, but, because of the Jew’s “willingness to compromise” with the promises of God (who gave the Jews the “Promised Land”) and in “not making the necessary sacrifices” to “struggle for victory”.

The contempt that Al Qaeda displays towards the Jews for their perceived ‘weakness’ in not being willing to fight for what is ‘rightfully’ theirs is akin to the conclusion OBL reached about America (being afraid of casualties) following its quick withdrawal from Somalia (after the Mogadishu incident).

As I have mentioned, the original source is an "Arabic language" publication [Internet magazine Zerwat al Sanam, meaning "Tip of the Camel's Hump," the al-Qaida author of this screed, Abu Zubeida al-Baghdadi]. To my knowledge, there is no English language link to the original Arabic site. The quotes were translations directly from the Arabic. The following link to “World Net Daily” references some (but not all of the quotes I used).

The additional quotes that I cited came directly from Joseph Farrah, publisher and CEO of “WorldNetDaily”, a major Internet news agency. I consider them to be from a reliable source.

Assume that the above mentioned Al Qaeda quotes are true regarding their disregard for Israel because they have “compromised with their enemies”.

Should Israel continue to compromise with their enemies by giving up more of their “covenant” land for the sake of peace? Will the ‘enemies’ of Israel ever give them ‘peace’ in return for land, in light of the Al Qaeda views expressed?

I would like to know the link you found this on. While it is true that the Jewish should not give away land and yes, they should fight for what was given to them by God, I don't think that Al Qaeda has the right to appoint themselves to do anything. When you come right down to this entire thing, it is still over the land. I believe it is playing out EXACTLY as God tells us in the Bible. The stage is being set for the remainder of prophecy to be fulfilled. These are things that must happen, but the Jewish will still retain their land in the end and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ, will sit on the throne!

MODERN Israel is NOT the recipient of God's promises! The promise to Abraham which created the "favored nation" status WAS FULFILLED in Jesus.

Judaism and the nation of Israel are SPIRITUALLY meaningless. ONLY through relationship with Jesus can ANYONE come to God.

Ephesians 2:15 Through his body on the cross, Christ put an END to the LAW WITH ALL ITS COMMANDS AND RULES. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them.

Colossians 2:14 He wiped out the written Law with its rules. The Law was against us. It opposed us. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.

Galatians 2:16 ...No one can be made right with God by obeying the law.

Galatians 2:21 ...What if a person could become right with God by obeying the law? Then Christ died for nothing!

Galatians 5:4 Some of you are trying to be made right with God by obeying the law. You have been separated from Christ. You have fallen away from God’s grace... The ONLY verse that talks about falling from grace, and they did it by trying to follow the law!

Jesus said he didn’t come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. (Matt 5:17) The effect was the same. Once fulfilled it was no longer in effect. The very next verse, Matthew 5:18, looks forward to the time when the law would be set aside. "...Not even the smallest stroke of a pen will disappear from the Law UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED." IF the law were intended to be permanent, the "UNTIL..." clause would be meaningless.

The 10 commandments along with the rest of the law ("commands and rules" from Ephesians 2:15) were "set aside" when they were fulfilled or completed at Jesus' resurrection. We are no longer bound by that law.

Not in the slightest. Al Qaida is a terrorist organization made up of Islamist extremists whose main goal is to get the western countries out of the Islamic regions, and to build societies based on Islamic law. They've demonstrated that they're willing to do just about anything to achieve this. Their opinion on Israel and Palestine is of little consequence to me.

What matters is, what people living in the region (Israelis, Palestinians) want. Most of them (by far) want to live together peacefully. Unfortunately, both sides are plagued with extremists.

The land upon which the entire Middle East stands is the place of the beginning for all races but African, for it is a bridge between the ancient world and the modern world.

If this report is correct then one wonders when they think they will accomplish their purpose since Israel appears to be intact even against over-whelming odd such as 250 to one. Father God has never and will never forget His promise to Abraham and Issac.

I might read it if you cited the source of your "report".
I see this report as "hogwash" or More Muslim propaganda to "justify" exterminating Israel.
