i totally believe in god and everything but i am so confused. some ppl say that we evolved from monkeys and everything- at least thats what we learn at school! and then i go to church and sunday school and they tell us that god created us. How do they know god created us? isnt it just a theory. Couldnt this be untrue?? i am so confused and scared i am losing my religion. it seems like god isnt real. how do we know hes there??

Believe it or not, evolution is just a theory also. Religion is defined as "a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe" Therefore, evolution is also a religion because is has not been proven. I would rather put my faith in a loving God who created us in his image than the thought that just by chance we happened to be here. God is evident in everything around us. Don't lose your faith in Him. And don't let religions confuse you. Focus on your relationship with God through Jesus Christ, trust in Him and pray for understanding and He will lift you up.

Just so you know, evolution is only a theory as well. Creation hasn't been allowed in schools because of its connection to religion, simple as that. Evolution is not fact! All you need to do and worry about is having a relationship with Jesus and knowing God. Strengthen your faith in God and don't worry about details that are not a matter of salvation. Later, when you are stronger, then tackle the questions. Food for thought though .... some evolution theories can be true (not about coming from monkeys though, or why are there still monkeys?), God could put the circumstance in place to make it so. The Big Bang, could be true, but how did all the matter and gases get there in the first place? They had a beginning, so they had to have a creation at some point. God could have formed the universe and to the human eye, it appears as it is theorized. A really good book for you to read that pulls alot of this together is "The Case for the Creator", by Lee Strobel. Lee Strobel was an Atheist who set out to prove that God does not exist, instead, he proved to himself that God does exist and is now a Christian. The book comes in a version suitable for children, teens and adults (3 versions).

Does it really matter if we actually did evolve from the apes? All that implies is that God created them first.
Read your Bible and get a good commentary to go with it and try not to allow Satan to get you bound-up with all the petty details that divide us and make man proud. Pray for guidance from God the Holy Spirit.

School's only teach man made ideals, Why are you scared for, God created everything, There is no evolution of man kind, How do I know the bible is real, Because I have been a Christian for 37 yrs. & I see it very plainly.

Once you realize that the scriptures are divine in origin, then you will know God created us all.

Read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. this book points reason into you life. The bible promotes blind faith so that you can sacrifice you life to some being who made you and wants to test if you go and burn for eternity. sounds like fun doesnt it?
Btw, christians dont know if hes there, they THINK hes there.

hey look at it this way.........the bible does not bring down evolution people just say that the evolution is going against god.....my belief is that god made evolution happen
