It's called a muslim prayer cap. The actual name starts with a T, but it isn't turban. And as I can see so many are in to stereotypes, let me clarify something. Sikhs are required to wear those turbans, NOT muslims. Had you even the smallest amount of education or experience, you would have known this. And sikh boys must keep one very long ponytail wrapped up in it, so how do you like DEM apples??

Taqiyah is the cap that is placed directly over the hair, made of cotton and comes in plain, white color. Accented with fine white-thread embroideries.

is the right cap or are you speaking of the more full hat that covers the ears and looks more like a scarf?

its called a ghatra in arabic .these are the ones which men tie it on their head with a cloth jus like a scarf dese usually arabs wear whereas der also comes a round shaped cap in white or black which most men of all cultures wear 4 prayers.

it called kufi,it's round-shaped.yes,kufi looks like a beanie that hip-hopers wear.kipa is wear by judaism followers.kufi wear by muslims.the difference between kipa and kufi is ;kipa is small;while kufi is big,almost cover our head like beanie.

Well, It's called the turban thats cultural.


There are other ones though, optional when doing prayer.

I didn't really ever wear one though.
