sure
but more importantly, they require a creative, open mind and an understanding that all history books are full of mistruths that justify their culture's facist government systems to be understood.

I don't know where you get the 99.9% backing by archaeological and physical evidence for the Acts of the apostles. I think you just threw that in to make people think you have acquired great knowledge of the Holy Bible. The truth is you have never taken time to read the Holy Bible have you? You should take a little time to read the Acts. It is a lovely story of how the Apostles Peter and Paul established the Christian Church. I'm sure you would be inspired. Christianity is a lovely religion. One book of the Holy Bible has no more backing than any of the others. The entire Holy Bible was lived and written over two thousand years ago but there has been an unbroken chain of Christians from those who actually knew Christ to today's Christians. The Holy Bible requires faith and it is easy to understand how a young boy uneducated in a Church environment could be so confused as you. God Bless

The bible only requires faith if you are looking for 100% accuracy, taken as historical melodrama with fictional pazazz and a keen marketing plan you need no faith. Its much like Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code that way.

The bible books need more than faith to be believed -- they require insanity. There are hundreds of errors of fact, as well as dozens of internal contradictions, so it is literally impossible for a fully rational person to believe any of it.

The all require you to suspend disbelief as the movie makers say. Even Acts gets into trouble by mentioning names too freely and getting into conflicts with history. Much of what it says, even though it sounds reasonable at first reading, conflicts with what we have learned about the realities of the times.
