in the usa, ive seen bibles that are published in sooo many different ways. (picture books, story books WITH pictures... etc.)

in other religions, are the religious books published differently?
or is the (for example) Qur'an (sorry for bad spelling) just a standard thing, no changes made to it?

You see this on TV all the time. Are people getting a new lease on life or is it all just an elaborate hoax?

wasn't Noah's flood the ultimate way of kicking over the gameboard? He practically screamed "You're not playing right!!" when he did it. Imprisoning Jonah inside of a giant fish until he'd do what he wanted?-Yeah, that's mature! Was Moses wandering in the desert foir so long because God spaced out the fact the he had just been playing with that doll and left him in the sandbox after getting distracted by a cookie? Are we to have no other Gods before him because his mommy never taught him how to share? Is the reason he's so stringent on doleing out sexual permissions because he thinks girls are icky and doesn't want to think about it? Is his noticable absence from our world today explicable by a very long naptime or time-out?

Wish I may
Wish I might
Have this I wish tonight
Are you satisfied?
Dig for gold
Dig for fame
You dig to make your name
Are you pacified?
All the wants you waste
All the things you've chased
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger, but there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the King
But the castle's crumbled and you're left with just a name
Where's your crown, King Nothing?

We all know things on Jesus and his supposed return to the Earth... but what about the figure of the antichrist? Does any other book different from the bible mention him? Can Hitler be an example of what the Bible meant by 'antichrist'?? Is he (or she) supposed to be born from a Virgin? Will he be defeated? If so, by whom? Any other detail will be apreciated.

I've recently read an article on Nostradamus; he seems to write very difuse and obscure words, but some people who knew how to interprete him conclude several things:

- There will be a Third World War
- Europe will be invaded by the muslims.
- The Vatican will fall.
- The antichrist will come to the Earth, but will finally be defeated.

What do you know on Nostradamus? He was a doctor, how could he learn to see the future? What do you think on these or other profecies made by Nostradamus??

as a person takes birth he starts learning from parents whatever parents thinks right the baby learns then he learns from teachers then professionals .so i think the life of that person is not his life , it is the life of parents, teachers ......
so that person looses himself . because may be the person want to do some other thing which is his own desire got from last birth but when he obeys to everybody then do not you think that he is fullfilling others desires.while the purpose of life to realize oneself and not to fullfill others desires may be good or bad. what do you think that it is the bondage . and a real person is that one who frees himself from these bondages and do whatever he likes or whatever comes from his soul.

My friend and I were asked to prepare a worship for class. It requires a worship thought and an activity that supports it. The only problem is that I can't think of anything. Can anyone suggest something? And if not, may I have your support, thank you.

The Mormon church gets millions every month from donations.
They hold stock in companies such as coke.
They own vast amounts of land.
Their members pay their own way to preach the church.
They build unbelievable church buildings.
They own many companies.
So far I haven't seen a single program to help the needy, that is sponsored by the mormon church, such as the salvation army.

My question is, who controls all this money?
How much do you think they have?
And do you think it's holy to use god's name to gain weath?

I was wondering,
1) What made you become a vegetarian?
2) What you eat that is quite enjoyable?
3) How do you get all of the protein and nutrients that you need in order to stay healthy.

I just saw a movie called Our Daily Bread and was horrified by the military precision and lack of caring for the animals that were getting slaughtered. The butchers didn't seem to care at all about the comfort of the animals. They just slaughtered them with reckless abandon, and didn't even flinch when an animal was suffering and in pain. I am a very strong Christian and God has given us dominion over the animals, not just for our sick amusement or pleasure.

Religion is a touchy topic, but I feel, while all its meant to do is good, it has had the opposite affect on the world. Many of the wars are religion based, but I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about this. The question is vague so feel free to interpret it in whatever sense.

Freedom of religion is considered to be a fundamental human right. Freedom of religion includes the freedom not to follow any religion and not to believe in any God. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance. Nobody can be forced into any kind of faith and cannot be punished for absence of any kinds of faiths or having a diffrent faith from that of state religion. Then why does the Christian God sent all non-Christians to hell just because they do not follow a particular religion?
Isn't this a violation of a fundamentel right right to freedom of religion?

How can Christians accuse Communist countries and Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia of violation of freedom of religion when their God itself is violating it?

I have a paper due, over what I believe about Soteriology, or the study of salvation. The questions are drawn from a catechism. There are 24 total questions within this paper that I will answer. On executive decision, I chose to post each of these on Answers! but.... I am going to do them about once each day. They will be titled "Soteriology - Q # ______ . " I am going to poast them, one each day, because I am hoping to get as many different people to answer these questions as possible. If you would like to answer all 24, search them through my name, and answer as many as you would like to. PLEASE BACK YOUR ANSWERS UP WITH REFERENCES TO SCRIPTURE, THOELOGICAL QUOTES, ETC. I want you to be as creative as possible, and I want as many people to participate as possible. Thank you for your participation! I do not want you to do my research. I want more opinions than just people I can find on my own. In a sense, think of it more as an interview.
