Yes. And also because it is true. Truth is always better than falsehood.
If you are going into a real swordfight, you probably don't want some dinky nerf sword. You want the real thing (maybe a steel katana like I have...). Just as the nerf sword would be ineffective in a real sword fight because it has no substance to it compared to the steel sword, so falsehood (human ideas, human religion, etc;) has no real substance when compared to the truth of the Word of God. The falsehood will always give way eventually. And the truth will always stand.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
P.S. to Irish1- Nothing wrong with pride in the Lord. That isn't "puff myself up" pride, it is "exalt the Lord" pride. It is unselfish, therefore good. Self-directed pride or "things in this world"-directed pride are sinful, because they are selfish. Remember the two greatest commandments?

The Messianic tradition is the richest source of allegorical symbolism that comes alive to show us all that there is so much more than simply existing: There is a fall, there is redemption, there is something powerful and mysterious and all-encompassing. We walk around as if with blindfolds, gagged and our fingers in our ears. That is how this world is. Christianity opens our eyes to something more meaningful, something deeper than the ocean and higher than the sky, something more romantic, more exciting than anything we could ever imagine. The Apocalypse shall be torn away, and all will be revealed. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God. Seek it IN ALL THINGS!!! It is there, beneath your nose! We must all soon wake up to something within ourselves that inhibits perfect communion, and destroy that thing, so that we may all bask in the Light with one another.

because Christ himself made sure that all knew that He is "the truth, the way and the life. No one goes to the Father except through Him." John 14:6
He is THE EVERYTHING
by the way, He testify to love by freely giving his own life for the redemption of the world.
But honestly, I do not believe Christianity to be a religion. It is a lifestyle and the only one that leads to eternal life.
Buddha, nor Mohamed rose again on the 3rd day. Only Christ did!
and if you shall be in doubt or skeptic, i urge you to seek, pray, knock. Jesus promised to open the door to anyone that truly desire to find the truth. He can and will open your eyes to His understanding, if only you ask_
God bless you all!

The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.
Churchianity is a pagan religion. The only thing that will change a person is the indwelling savior Yahoshua. Obviously that is rare in this sinful world.

Do any other religions claim heaven as their goal? If so, how do they intend to get there without God's son?

Because Jesus is who the Bible says He Is.
Our Salvation is by Grace of God. Because God so loves us.
