I am doing a Bible Study and would like an answer please. Peter was assisted by angels to get out of prison, but why didn't God assist James? Help. Anyone.

Seems many people today say the theory of evolution is now a fact. Do you believe this to be true? If so, why? And, what evidence do you have to back up your belief? Just so we're clear... I am not refering to that part of observable science called natural selection. I'm referring to evolution (you know "molecules evolving into man" historical science type stuff). Oh, and if you have the name of the scientific article or report that states that evolution is now fact, please provide it. I would love to check it out. Thanks!

And don't tell me it's because it'll make my life "so much better". That's not motivation enough for me. I may like living life according to another standard. It may suit my life just fine. I don't mind that you think it isn't good enough.

I've also been told by several people (Christian, in fact) that it's unecessary to even believe in God in order to be a good person, so obeying in order to be "a good person" isn't reason enough either.

Is there any reason I __NEED__ to obey the will of God, or is there nothing that makes it necessary?

This is the attitude I have with my degree. I have tried 101% all the way through and know the top mark I get will be a low pass- it is a mathematical impossibility, based on existing grades, for me to get any higher.

Am I in the correct frame of mind, or should I have already ducked out with dignity? Thanks!
