As far as the Bible god in particular is concerned, just your common sense (if you have studied the Bible) casts real doubt on his existence, simply because of his profound emotional issues -- are they the traits of a real deity? Plus, he never changes, so he cannot learn from his mistakes.

What is wrong with homosexuals?They just love someone. Who cares if it is someone of a different sex? It's "sick."

That's no reason to ban gay marriage. You don't make something illegal just for being "sick."
Porn is "sick". Is it illegal?

Dont tell me prostitutes and rapists are sick, too. They are, but they aren't illegal because of that. Prostitution is illegal because it is dangerous, and rape is illegal because it's a violation of rights.

Why are you so xenophobic? Gay marriage should be allowed.

People are allowed to marry whoever they want. It isn't their fault they're homosexual.

According to the Texas state constitution I am disqualified from holding public office. I am an intelligent person who has been very involved in politics since I can remember. I did volunteer work for canidates long before I could vote. I was not planning on running for office, but then I read this:

"Texas' State Constitution, Article 1 Section 4
"No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust, in this State; nor shall any one be excluded from holding office on account of his religious sentiments, provided he acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being."

Maybe I should run for something. Check your own state constitutions. There are a number of them that say likewise.

This is a forum about religion.....not non-religion. At least that 's what it seems like to me. I ask questions to "BELIEVERS" and in return I get "worthless", "braindead", "heartless", "Doomed" answers that make no sense or have any logic....not to mention "hope". I have read often how these christians would be beaten, cooked alive, raped, stabbed, dragged to death, skinned, crucified, and many more imaginative deaths yet they keep coming back generation after generation! Today in our modern world you will often see christians being persecuted people taken prayers out of the schools, trying to remove any objects of faith anywhere on display, speaking badly about these christians that they personally do not know anything about - but they are christians and therefore deserve everything you and the world are willing to cast at them!
Here the atheist seem to be the most active so let me ask this would you fight for your beliefs till the death? would you watch the family dragged out and murdered holding strong to your rights and beliefs? Is your belief for real or another way of avoiding conflict? Would you really die or take another safer faith???? It may happen sooner than you think!
