* That ia a chick tract. They never tell the truth. I am wiccan and do not believe in evil, but if evil did exist chich tracts would be evil. You should see the way they portray my religion.
I do not have any problem Christians teaching the bible and when i was a Christian I passed out many thousands of tracts, but not one chick tract. The tracts I passed out were bible sermons short and to the point with plenty of scripture. They were about faith, works baptism doing good living a blameless life. they were bible related and not hate filled. Chick tracts teach hate.
Just do not let it bother you things like this are out there just like that church I think it is Westborrough church that protests funerals of soldiers. not all Christians go to these extremes. I can't believe I just defended Christians.LOL*

I see you've stumbled on *that* website.... It's got to be one of the funniest (and scariest) things religious fanatics have put out in the USA. Notice the contrast between the evil, ill-tempered evolutionist professor and the calm, reasoning, clean-cut religious guy? Hahaha! Anyway, I confess I gave up reading after a while because it was just too long and too stupid (you've really got to look at some of the other, more hateful comics they've posted). But here's some food for thought:
-the comic says that just because there are muscles around the human tail bone, it cannot be vestigial. Nonsense. Do rules that apply to bones not apply to muscles?
-the comic relies on the relentless - and false - creationist belief that according to evolution theory, humans evolved from apes (see chimpanzee drawing). Um... not true. Apes and humans evolved from the same common ancestor, which most certainly was not a chimp!
-"Most experts agree that Lucy was an unusual chimpanzee."??? Where do they get this stuff? It seems they think that just by saying something, it becomes true.
-There's a picture of a blackboard with 6 points on it. Let me first point out that science does not "prove" things (as the comic says), but DISPROVE them. So, for example, the fifth point about macroevolution IS accepted because all alternatives to date have been disproven, and because the ONLY evidence we have, one way or the other, supports the idea (the fossil record, DNA evidence, homologous traits, etc etc etc).
(You probably should have posted this in the science forum though).

1) I think you mean 'debunk', not 'rebunk'.
2) There is plenty of evidence for cosmological evolution and macro-evolution. Just because something takes a long time to happen doesn't mean it couldn't possibly happen. Look up the fossil record, radioactive dating techniques, supernova evidence for an expanding universe, and the cosmic microwave background.
3) There are plenty of vestigial organs and structures in the human body.
4) Strong and weak forces overcome other forces in the atom.

There is a literal mountain of evidence to support evolution. The "cartoon" in this link is just that; a cartoon, and pretty funny at that. The science teacher seems to have a third grade knowledge of evolution, and the "student" quotes nonsense from the bible that proves nothing.
Go to http://www.talkorigins.org/ for the real scoop.

"rebunk" is not a word, I think you mean "debunk".
There is no reason to debunk it, it is obviously false propaganda.
They site NO sources, they provide NO links, they discuss NO scientific opinions, they site NO scientific studies to support their claims....this cartoon is garbage. This is a PERFECT example of how "creationism" is taught. It falsely labels and stereotypes those that believe in evolution (the professor), and then makes someone appear "Christ-like" in their refusal to accept the theory of evolution and learn about science. If they really want to refute evolution, they will do so in an INTELLECTUAL way the uses SCIENTIFIC STUDIES instead of ridiculous cartoons that are only useful for polluting the minds of children.
And most importantly, they need to realize that the Bible is in NO WAY a scientific source for material and should not be quoted in a debate about evolution.

It's just religious propaganda from a company that produces "gospel literature". Look at the list of available tracts:

If it wasn't so sad it would be funny.

evolution is all circumstantial and anyways the probability of it happening is very slight (10 to the 1 trillionth power) if u don't believe me ask any revered scientist (i did).
Anyways if one person told you that they saw god then their probably full of it, but if an entire nation witnessed god (like the jews claim to have) then u have to be stubbornly ridiculous not to believe them.

Cute cartoon, I enjoyed reading it. I hate to debunk something that I like but Kent Hovind's name is attached to this. He, unfortunately, has told some untruths and most of us Creationists no longer cite his work because we don't know what is valid and what he lied about.
That doesn't mean Creationism isn't true! :)

For some links to debunk the various claims.
