Different scholars have different ideas about how the name YHWH was originally pronounced.
In the glossary of the French Revised Segond Version, page 9, the following comment is made: “The pronunciation Yahvé used in some recent translations is based on a few ancient witnesses, but they are not conclusive. If one takes into account personal names that include the divine name, such as the Hebrew name of the prophet Elijah (Eliyahou) the pronunciation might just as well be Yaho or Yahou.”
In 1749 the German Bible scholar Teller told of some different pronunciations of God’s name he had read: “Diodorus from Sicily, Macrobius, Clemens Alexandrinus, Saint Jerome and Origenes wrote Jao; the Samaritans, Epiphanius, Theodoretus, Jahe, or Jave; Ludwig Cappel reads Javoh; Drusius, Jahve; Hottinger, Jehva; Mercerus, Jehovah; Castellio, Jovah; and le Clerc, Jawoh, or Javoh.”
Thus it is evident that the original pronunciation of God’s name is no longer known. Nor is it really important. If it were, then God himself would have made sure that it was preserved for us to use. The important thing is to use God’s name according to its conventional pronunciation in our own language.
Modern forms of the divine name in different languages, indicate international acceptance of the form Jehovah

Allah is just a generic term for "God".
Jesus father is called "I am I am" and “Yahweh”.
The best translation of Yahweh to English would be Jehovah.
Since the United States is not a Hebrew speaking country the name Jehovah is used.
Like Jose in Spanish we would say John in English. The same applies to God’s name from Hebrew to English.

God's name is Jehovah...that is the commonly accepted English pronunciation.
Psalm 83:18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." King James Version
It is such a shame that God's great name Jehovah has been removed thousands of times from the Bible and replaced with mere titles, such as the LORD, GOD, etc. It has caused so much confusion among Christians. They don't even realize that they are confused, but some of them believe that Jesus is God. How very sad, for the purpose of making known God's name was very important to Jesus himself...
John 17:6: “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world."
John 17: 25 & 26: "Righteous Father, the world has, indeed, not come to know you; but I have come to know you, and these have come to know that you sent me forth. 26 And I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.”
Jesus also said this:
John 17: 3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
This shows that the Father and the Son are two separate individuals, working in union to do the Father's will, just as those who come to know the Father and the Son accurately, also in union with them are working to do the Father's will.

According to some, the true name of God is the greatest secret in the universe. Others claim that His name is YHWH (meaning 'I Am'). Elohim, like Allah, simply means 'the Lord' and is more of a title than a name. JW's falsely claim that God can be called by His 'personal name' Jehovah - which is in fact nothing more than an ellipsis of YHWH with Elohim, not a proper name or title. Some have said that God has no name as we understand it, because it would define and therefore limit Him.
The short answer is, nobody really knows. It's not like we can check His birth certificate.

God has several names, but they all tend to stay within the common idea of "God" or "Lord". Also, "I AM" is something that He called Himself on many occasions.
The common one I've heard is Jehovah, which translates to Yahweh in Hebrew (Or Greek, sorry that I can't remember). All of the names which I'm aware of are all some kind of translation of God, when you really look at it.
Check out this link to see a breif description of some of the names, along with some Bible verses to look up.

God has many names but you can think of it as God being the family name. Father God, Son God and Holy Spirit God. The main thing is to learn of His love and accept it, not what name you need to call Him by.
