"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort" II Corinthians 1:3
Can you tell me what this would mean in a kid's view?

Instead they accepted a romanticized image of what they want him to have been. Since accepting Jesus into your heart is integral to salvation, can't we insert Pascal's wager here and say that they should accept gays just in case Jesus was?

If Prayer worked then all odds and percentages would be off, If some one goes to the doctor and they have a 50/50 chance of making it out ok from an operation, if they prayed the odds dont change in their favor.

Similiarities only - not differences please. I've heard enough differences between the two religions. And please, no disrespecting other people's religions, background, etc. by name-calling, insults, or other inappropriate behavior.

verse 37 He said to him You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind. 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this, Youlmust love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets
This second commandment, love of neighbor, as witness of God, (Isaiah 43 verse 10 You are my witnesses is the utterance of Jehovah) we go telling others about Jehovah, His son Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
We love our neghbor, so we go telling this good news.
It is also a command

So why do many of you condem the work of the witnesses if this is a command by Jesus?

You’ll never know how much I really love you,
You’ll never know how much I really care,

Listen, do you want to know a secret,
Do you promise not to tel, Whoa . . . . .
Closer let me whisper in your ear,
Say the words you long to hear,
I’m in love with you, oo . . . . .

I’ve known a secret for a week or two,
Nobody knows just we two.

Listen, do you want to know a secret,
Do you promise not to tel, Whoa . . . . .
Closer let me whisper in your ear,
Say the words you long to hear,
I’m in love with you,

I was traveling with a friend who was rather emotional at the time. He has fallen behind on some bills since he had been laid off. He was very frustrated with not being able to close deals with potential employers. Earlier that day, I drove him to a security company for an interview he had. Hours later I brought him with me to buy groceries. I didn't want him to be alone in his place. He started to cry in my car while I was driving. He was talking to himself, distressed. I responded to him and i told him that things will get better for him. That I would pray for him. I invited him to my church. Then he said "Show me things will be better tomorrow." Then I caught sight of what appeared to be a police car passing me on my right. It was a patrol car from the same security company. We both flipped out. He went crazy talking to himself. I pulled over because he was so excited. He said he wasn't talking to me. He was asking God for a sign.

Okay, so everything is made up of star stuff. When a super or hyper nova occurs - according to astrophysicists, that occurance creates a nebula - a star nursery where new stars are born. In other words, energy transforms because it can't be destroyed.

Assuming this assumption is correct, how can you, as a energy-carrying atheist, be destroyed?

What city is Isaiah talking about in chapter 52? The city of Jerusalem as we know it today or the "Holy City" that will come down from the skies one day, the Holy City of God? And to what Servant does he refer? One who was "high up and most exalted", whose face was so changed that no one could recognize Him, his figure being "so disfigured beyond that of any man"; remember that He did something no one else could have done.

And help me understand?
‘Cos I’ve been in love before, and I found that love was more,
Than just holding hands,
If I give my heart to you,
I must be sure from the very start,
That you would love me more than her.
If I trust in you, of please,
Don’t run and hide,
If I love you too, oh please don’t hurt my pride like her.
‘Cos I couldn’t stand the pain,
And I would be sad if our new love was in vain.
So I hope you see,
That I would love to love you,
And that she will cry when she learns we are two.
‘Cos I couldn’t stand the pain,
And I would be sad if our new love was in vain.
So I hope you see,
That I would love to love you,
And that she will cry when she learns we are two.
If I fell in love with you.
