Why would they be found in the Dead Sea?

They have been found in the Red Sea.

Dunno, but you are aware that even if they did, that's not proof that the chariots were from the supposed incident wherein God caused the red sea to sweep away the Egyptians pursuing Moses et al, correct? Not even close to valid evidence. Even so, if someone paid me to go do an underwater survey of the Red sea, I'd jump at the chance, seeing as humans have occupied the area for thousands of years, so there's gotta be some stuff there. So it'd be a fun dig no matter what. Plus, you know, free vacation to the Middle East.

The DEAD sea?? I doubt it. Why would they bother? But if you mean the RED Sea, yeah, they did find some corals in the Gulf of Aqabah, which is a branch of the Red Sea. Those corals were shaped like wheels and axles, and they were the right size to be Egyptian chariots.

Perhaps looking in the reed sea, not the Red sea? And from what I have been told, bodies really dont last too long at the bottom of the sea, def not 3500 years, anyway, same with wood...

Probably buried under so much sand and salt it will never come to light. Maybe if it drys up and the archaeologists do a dig they will come up with some interesting finds.
