The Police - Message In A Bottle

Just a castaway
An island lost at sea
Another lonely day
No-one here but me
More loneliness
Than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair

I'll send an sos to the world
I'll send an sos to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle

Why should He even need to? God is supposed to be all-loving and all-merciful. Why then did he not create us without malice in our hearts? If He was so powerful that He could breathe life into dust, that should have been a snap.

Oh, yes, Free Will... (snort).

So, instead of humanity being ruled by love, and compassion, He created us with the ability to rape, murder and steal. So much for all-loving and merciful.

God is love but he has nothing to do with the actions of these particular people. I was once influenced to turn away from God because of the actions of other people but people will always disappoint you - God is always there no matter what. I do think Jesus is coming soon - just look at the signs of the times & how people have become lovers of themselves.

In the old testament, it seems what people most needed protecting from was god. "He's" pretty mean in that part of the bible. I guess he calmed down once he had a kid.
You can't really ask these questions--well, you can, but you can't apply logic to something that is utter mythology.

God loved us so much, that He made us capable of choosing between good and evil and standing by our choice. He does whisper to us through the voice of the Holy Ghost, the Counsellor of our hearts.

We love God because He doesn't
police us.
If your hand is cut, does it not heal?
I see that stars form. Planets emerge
from seemingly nowhere. There is
water, food and dreams.
When we awake, we see a day that
we have never seen before.
How can you say that God doesn't
love you?

I guess according to christian thought, he does police us. He's keeping tabs on us right to see who gets into heaven and who goes to hell. Also according to christian thought, he will protect us from all, even ourselves if we follow him. Father knows best, right?

If God was perfect and loving he would have made everything
perfect. Simple as that. By making something imperfect he
proves his own imperfection and therefore nonexistence.
This is just my opinion though.
