don't buy the notion that "they hate us for the freedom we give to our women" it is simply laughable. why dont they hate Sweden then.
and the religious freedom one is more laughable than the women one.
try to do your own study and the truth will come out. did you read the Baker-Hamilton report?. it is a good starting point to prove what I am saying. to solve the US problems in Iraq they have to address the Palstinian issue this is what they said

Well, as a Muslim who was born and raised in New Jersey, I don't hate America. Unfortunately, many Muslims that were raised in the Middle East have been taught to hate the USA. This is only because of the political split between the Shi'a, Sunni, and other sects of Islam in the Middle East. Even though I have only recently converted to Islam, I understand the true nature of Islam is one of peace and serenity. Many of the extremist leaders in the Middle East seem to have forgotten this and are forcing their own people to kill not only other Muslims, but women, children, and innocents from other races and religions.

Because America supports Israel and they are in Afghanistan and Iraq killing Muslims and are trying to separate Sudan into two countries in Darfur by saying Muslims are letting innocent people die when it's the Christians doing it and they went into Somalia and are discriminating against Arabs and Muslims in America.

Because of America's biased policies. Because of the Iraq was which was based on false reports more than hundred thousand people have died. How can you expect them to love America? Plus America is biased with its supports of Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian lands under International law. Israel which is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries in the world get $5 billion dollars aid every year from America. Israel has also secretly build nuclear weapons and the world is quiet. On the other hand Palestinians are living in poverty. Love is hard to come for them who see all this.

Why do so many Americans hate Al-Qaida?
Generally when you bomb and kill people they dont like you (and the US has killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and through its proxies in Palestine, Lebanon, Somali etc)

They feel that we have "invaded" the lands of Islam. They hate the fact that we have religous freedom, treat women equally, and have freedom of speech. They also hate that we support Israel. Amen Askmrerelli. To Affan- 610,000 insurgency deaths, 3000 american deats, 50,000 Civilian deaths. I LOVE ISRAEL.
