A child of 7 chould be having fun. Maybe you could learn more from your daughter than she can from you.
Suffer the children to come unto me........
Find that part of the Bible and keep reading and think about it.
Instead of looking at her learning disability, look for the gifts that God has given her. It isn't important to be able to memorise verses. It is important to accept God in to your heart. God will always be there watching over her.
There is sometimes a tendencey for us to try to make our families more acceptable to the judgement of others. All we should worry about is the opinion God has of us.
If you want her to learn about the Bible, read with her and ask her questions after. You're right to teach her and the Bible is more valuable today than it ever has been. But if you try to force her to learn and she find's it too difficult, that could be the catalyst to turn her against God. Learning the story and it's meaning is the most important thing.
That expression -the road to Hell is paved with good intention - is very true.
By not trying to make her excell at anything you may find the thing she really does excell at.
I believe that God gives us all an equal amount of abilities and disabilities. We may not be able to do one thing but are incredibly talented at something else. We may be blind but amazing musicians, deaf but fantastic artists wheelchair bound but be incredible thinkers.
Don't believe me?
Stevie Wonder,
Beethoven,
Stephen Hawkin.
The reason I don't like the memorisation of passages is because it doesn't help the soul. Some of the best quoters have the most hateful views. Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda cronies being some of the worst offenders.
She'll show you her gift in good time.
I don't doubt you have a good heart but please be patient.

When i was a small child my mom used to make me memorize small chapters like psalms 1,psalms 23...etc...It would b better if u make her memorize such small chapters. It may take time for her to memorize but god will bless her more and moreover that's very useful in the future.
Neways i'll keep ur daughter in my prayers.
GOD BLESS U AND UR FAMILY.

One of my favorite verses is Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you." It's pretty short and encouraging.
