Are they Christians who don't believe in taking the Bible literally? I once read that they "believe in God, but not religion." If that's the case, wouldn't that make them Deists?

(And just as a side note: if the only answer you can come up with is something along the lines of "They're going to burn in Hell!" then please just find another question to answer. Thanks)

I'm an atheist/agnostic...I guess. Anyways, I'm just wondering if anyone can logically convince me that the Christian religion is right, or that God exists? Actually this question is open to any religion: convince me you're right. (and no answers like yes because the bible says so...I'm asking for proof of sorts.)

The Deity of Christ is being blasphemed from every segment of religion and non-religion. This is a crucial point and one battlefront satan is CONSTANTLY trying to win. Using a Bible version that either denies it or doesn't make it clear is to the ADVANTAGE of the anti-Christ spirit. Shouldn't we be unified in this? The world loves to use the differences in versions to pervert the truth of Christ. Why aid and abette the enemy in his work??

If god created EVERYTHING, How could he create man in his image with a quality that he himself does not understand?

For example, If god UNDERSTANDS guilt, then how can god be perfect, because the feeling of guilt only comes from doing wrong.

Can god understand things he cannot experience? Can he understand guilt without actually feeling it? If he's perfect, he can do ANYTHING, but if he can do ANYTHING, then he has to be able to do wrong, but if he does wrong, then he isn't perfect.

Please explain!!!

I'm confused, not about religion. If there is a god then who created him or her or it? Besides putting a gun to my head, how will I find out there is a god?

Since the only true way to Heaven is accepting Jesus. Do you realize that any unbeliever (such as pagans or members of divergent Christian denominations, atheists, agnostics, deists, etc.) who's not in the list of 2.1 billion Christians is being or will be tortured in Hell, and, damnation to hell is considered final and irreversible.

How could you believe that?

It seems to me that the south is much more christian friendly than new england...My favorite preachers NEVER come up to MA. Joyce Meyer, Ed young, and Paula White seem to always stay in the south, midwest, or west coast...but never MA...Anyone get what I am saying? What do u think?

John 9: 1-2......The deciples and Jesus pass a man from birth and ask Jesus if he is blind because of the sins of his parents or his own sins. Well if they think it could be because of his own sins then he must have existed before birth, right?

I have been delivered from a lot and I thank God, but sometimes I dont feel content, I am not materialistic but I always feel I need to do more and that I am not sastified with my relationship with the Lord. I always want to learn more, do more and become more.
I truly understand that when God gives you alot he requries a lot Luke 12:48. I have gone though a lot of transition this past month and my heart desire is to serve God and do his will. Have you ever had these feelings and how did you overcome them? Thank you and God bless you.
