It's a book of entertaining fiction.

I enjoyed the book and you should read it if you haven't already. I thought the movie would be hard to follow if somebody hadn't read the book. I had to explain alot to my family members who hadn't read it.

yes, i saw the movie, and the thing is that are many facts mixed with the imagination of the author :P
I will try to give some examples so each can conclude its own things.
*there was actually a council on nicanea, rome, to decide what aspects where gonna included on the faith, proving that the roman catholic church and all his daughters, like the protestant, and else, , was made of by the roman emperor and his court and no by jesus or his friends.
*The opus dei is more or less as it was shown but no all his followers are like those, there are good and honest, and respectful people on them.
*There was a group since the templars, but his task was to protect the treasures stolen during the cruzades, and prevent the info that was dangerous for the creed to be disperse.
*i don't think maria was pregnant of jesus, coz, untill i know, people of his wouldn't have sexual intercourse until certain age, that he didn't reached.
*The fact that Jesus was a jewish human being, on a higher level of intelligence and connection with God, is very important to recognize, to know that we can be like him if we try to, having a different image of him would not allow you to follow his example.

For now, that is what i can tell, if someone requires more information about any subject please email me or im, so we can talk, about life, God, jesus, religion, o wathever thing

I saw it. It was an OK thriller. I have no facts to support whether any of it was true or not, except that it makes sense that the church is hiding facts that it finds inconvenient to it's stated goals. The church really does want to conquer the world, if at all possible. It really mourns the power it has lost. It has at least these in common with Islam.

I loved it.
Not a single word of it is true. The premise of the movie is based on an actual hoast fabricated by a Frenchman named Plantard in the 1950's in an attempt to legitimize his claim to the throne of England. You can look up the details on Wikipedia.

I saw it, thought it was wonderfully done. If it were true that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had a child it would not change what Jesus came to earth for.
