Not evolution. Faith in God is a result of thought , faith is because we have not seen God but we understand in our minds the existence of such a one.So it is not a result of not thinking, but only of not seeing God, but we do use many things, so it is in part based on sight or other experiences, intellectual or sensual(sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch) that lead the mind in its operations to the conclusion not that a something made does not have a maker, but that it does. In this everyone agrees, and so we see that reason and experience lead all men to the conclusion that there is a maker and it is erroneous to say that belief in God is irrational. Reason naturally leads to the conclusion there is a cause, there is a reason(implying intelligent design), there is a maker. No one can argue with this unless ignorant of the truth and facts of reason and history. The debate which has been misconstrued is about what the maker is, for a maker , a reason, a cause are equally necessary.

Don't answer if you're an atheists.

Adultry: having sex with someone else who is not your legal spouse.
I'm pretty sure back in caveman days they did not have marriage or real laws for that matter. Why would God care anyway? Animals do it.

Stealing: isn't it like a job? What if you need to steal in order to survive? Wouldn't God have fun watching people steal from others and get caught?

Lie: I don't see how this could harm God in any way.

Cheat: Hey someone once said ''laws were meant to be broken'' plus laws in sports, games, etc were made by men not God and so are the sports, games, etc..

Well, I have been in a complicated situation in my life where until now I cannot understand what has happened ...!! when I fell in love with my gf, I was in a cultic religion that I didn't like , there were a lot of false rules preventing association with my gf who was a very good person ...!!so I got out of it and try to get back to the former religion I was in before joining the cultic one ..but, it was a difficult process, by that time I was feeling lost ...My gf was completing different from me, with a completely different religion which contradicts both of the organization I was part of ..and follow a completely strange and different belief systems ...I loved her a lot , I didn't find it was a reason to leave but I was really feeling uncomfortable in the relationship ..after a while being with her, she tries to push her belief on me ..I tried to understand her and even tried to join her but I couldn't because I was so convinced of my core beliefs ..

I was raised in this church and was wondering whether society "at large" considers this a respectable Christian denomination or as some obscure cult.

If you know that, then why would you think you are going to heaven?

Was Jesus' teaching on the Resurrection all for nothing? John 11: 1-44.

In John 4:23, what did Jesus mean when he said to the Samaritan woman:

"But the time is coming—indeed it's here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way."

Exactly what does it mean to worship God in Spirit and in truth and what does it mean to be a true worshipper of God? What does a true worshipper look like? This is one of those passages where the meaning completely escapes my understanding and I need a little clarification. Thanks.

What is your definition of evil? For example, a thief wouldn't necessarily think what he is doing is wrong by stealing. Or, a doctor wouldn't think that killing a living bacteria is wrong if it saves a human So where does one draw the line between "good" and "evil" if they actually exist?

I've recently read a couple of them and find them fascinating. I started with "Talking to Heaven" by James Van Praagh and am currently reading "Strangers Among Us" by Ruth Montgomery.

I have witnessed Mormons doing it in the following contexts: Getting someone to sell daffodils for the Cancer Society as an extra person, when the extra services were obviously not necessary; showing up with an innocent person as part of a volunteer troupe, doing odd jobs, when their services had not been requested; campaigning door to door with the Heart & Stroke Foundation in a GROUP with a person naïve about volunteer work; presiding at a children's festival as a volunteer co-ordinator and getting naïve volunteers to paint children's faces.

Believe it, there is more to face painting than may appear on the surface. Too often it is used as more than innocent entertainment and/or diversion for children. As for the odd jobs and extra help offered at the gym, the Mormons were sent home, and the person apparently in charge looked very annoyed that they had even shown up unsolicited.

At the same time Mormons ostentatiously display their "good works", humbling others in the act.
