I think religion does scare people not Jesus, so they always paint the picture of a sad helpless Jesus rather than a joyful conquering Jesus riding on white horse killing evil people.
By the way no picture of Jesus on the cross is correct either because relgions do not like to see their God naked on a cross.
So every picture and idol you do see of Jesus Christ on the cross is a LIE.

I thought I saw Jesus smiling with His mother when He changed the water into wine at the wedding. It was a joyous occasion and the host was pleased. Everybody was happy including Jesus.

It is because of all the things he had to go through. See he had to take all the sins of the world on his shoulders when he died and as he walked on this earth. that's why in the garden where Jesus was tempted of the devil Jesus began to sweat blood. In these days if you sweat blood it is to say that you have a lot on you and the blood is comming out through your pores. So that is why because had to go through so much for people who he knew didn't even like him. WOW.

Because Jesus' suffering and death is scary. He was not the only one dying in such a way. It is a reminder to us what evil is and to not perpetrate it.

"Jesus": "made under the law": Galatians 4:4
"Christ": "is the end of the law": Romans 10:4
Peace with God is "through Jesus -> Christ";
Which is to allegory say through Law->Grace.

Jesus: division and not peace... Law
Christ: peace and not divided... Grace

There is nothing scary about Christ is our peace.
Only mercy is obtainable from a throne of grace.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I dissagree with you... not because you look like a sissy in your panties but because I know art (Christian art) and over 70% depicts a crowd with Jesus.
