I was disappointed because I thought it was the only way some people I knew would ever get what they deserved. But when I found out that Hell is just the common grave and that we all go there I realized that God has everything under control.

It depends on what else would be proven false. If I found out God and Heaven "weren't real", then I'd be very sad. I'd be very scared and sad if there was no afterlife. On the other hand, if those two things were real, it would mean that Jesus was a liar(which would would make me very mad and sad) or that Christianity "is false". I would be thrilled to know that people who are nice/good people will go to Heaven and not Hell.

First, if you believe in hell, you believe in there being an afterlife.

You also believe in there being a heaven...

Thus if you believe in hell, you believe you are going to heaven when you die (or you are at least trying to qualify to go to heaven)

So

1) If you die and there is no afterlife... you won't be able to care. You won't exist any more.

2) If you die and there is an afterlife and you aren't in hell, you'll figure you made it to heaven. so again, you won't care about the lack of a hell.

3) If you die and there is a hell and you didn't qualify to go to paradise... guess what... you'll be in hell. THEN you'll really care.

hell exists - per Jesus:
Matthew 3:12 "unquenchable fire"
Matthew 5:22, 18:9 "the hell of fire"
Matthew 13:42, 50 "the fiery furnace"
Matthew 18:8, 25:41 "the eternal fire"

you should learn about Sheoul, Gehenna; hell, death, place of the dead... hell exists and is mentioned through the Bible, in the OT and the NT

A lot of people would be more than disappointed. Imagine having to spend eternity in heaven with all those they despise so much on Earth.

I can hear then all whining to god now...

I would be sad cause then all the bad people would be in Heaven plus it would be too crowded. Heaven was only designed for a small number of people, it cannot handle the hordes from Hell.

I don't believe in Hell because that's my preference. I believe in Hell because Jesus Christ plainly taught there is a Hell, and He died to keep me out of it.
I would just as soon no such place existed, but it does, by the will of God, who is far wiser than you and I.

No. But I would do things that supposedly you go to hell if you do it ... suicide. Not anymore though. But what if there was no heaven? Would everyone be horrible to eachother?

Peace and Happiness.

Umm, no. If there was no Hell, then I could do whatever I want without worrying.

Now I do whatever the hell I want, but at least I worry about it. :)
