If religions keep splitting. Eventually it will be impossible to believe any thing. I think the only problem we have is that our literature and message are not wide spread. Atheists don't go around telling people in Africa they should not believe the Christian and Muslim missionaries. We don't have a message of hope and salvation only reality.



Do you agree that the more different religions we have(or splits in religions) the better for our position???

Who out there believes in god and has premarital sex?

Are you aware if you have sex with someone the bible says that you are married to that person forever? The act of sex is what make a marrige, not the saying I do part.

A lot of people say they believe in god...but it seems to me that a lot of people have no idea what they believe in.

And really there is no such thing as premarital sex, once you do it it's done....this is true stuff...look it up.

at times at wonder at my minds selective habit...it is alway selecting a compnay of pure energy...it goes with a person who is honest and simple...it goes to a shop where it feel the same energy vibes...as mind is selective all the time although it is opting for better energy still it is choosing the option which is convenient....why cant i be compfrtable with different energy spaces equally? why does my my mind selects people who are honest and spiritually inclined?.....i cannot go to any eatery and eat...when i get my kind of vibes then only i step into...same with shops...i want to be eqully comfrtable with all kinds of people , places and clothes....colours....i hope you guys can help me to understand my mind????

The arguement seems to be, Look, men carved the likenesses of people into the side of this mountain! God must have created the universe!

Er? Did I miss something? It wasn't God that carved people into the side of Mount Rushmore; it was men. I can see Mount Rushmore being evidence for the existence of men (which isn't being hotly disputed, as far as I'm aware), but how exactly do we get from there to God? All your God did was give you an unimpressive, randomly bumpy mountain face to work with.

Sorry, but it just doesn't do anything for me...

All of this is proven, scientific fact. The dinosaurs lived for 150 million years, at one time this was there planet. Our decendents lived underground. Then 65 million ago, a comet six miles wide slammed into the earth, bringing an end to the dinosaurs. Now, if that one event wouldn't have happened, leaving the way for the mammals to come out and take over the world, humans wouldn't be here.

That is a simple fact we would have never survived if the dinosaurs did, we owe our existance to their death. Asteroid impacts are less frequent than when the Earth was young but they happen, and happen quite randomly. We would not be here if it wasn't luck and chance for that comet to hit the earth. How does this speak of creation, when it was clearly chaos that brought on our arrival and the dinosaurs demise.

The bottom line is that we are damn lucky to be here.

You all believe that pain, misforture, sickness, & the bad things that happen to humans are a result of expulsion from paradise. Whether by mans' own behavior, or Satan's influence, the fact is, prior to sin, people didn't have to contend with these things.

So, although god was pissed, he eventually calmed down and decided to give mankind a second chance through Jesus Christ. It's interesting that a perfect being can have a change of heart isn't it (ie. make a mistake?)

Anyway, knowing these "facts" for the last 2000 or so years, and being the intelligent beings that you are, can't you simply apologize to god, thank him for the Christ option, and explain that you'd rather just be with him straight away? If you all know sinning is wrong, and you all agree with the rules Christ set down, why must you endure a lifetime of testing & temptation?

While god might get a perverse thrill out of this process, most sane parents would accept a sincere apology from their child & move forward.

That if you're not a member of that religion, you won't neccesarily will go to Hell?

E.g.: Religion X.

Sam is a member of religion X, but his wife Lily isn't. According to religion X's belief, Lily will go to Hell when she dies, because she's not a part of religion X.

So is there a religion in this world that if you're not a member of that religion, you won't neccesarily go to Hell?
