There is lot of overlap between Jaininsm and other Hindu philosophies. Some of my friends are Brahmin and Jain at the same time. Most of my other Jain friends are Hindu Vanik too while being Jain. Hindusism is an ocean of various philosophies - from athiesm to plurality of God. From Omnipresent to formless one.

Hinduism is not created by any Individuals preach or promotion. I feel all the Religions have a prime source of One or other great Individual. God has given body beauty/frame/all organs to smallest creacher and also a big elephant. The human being thinking/visualising every thing with vakra buddi. I respect all the Religions, by following the true Hindu spirit. Thank you.
