All of this is proven, scientific fact. The dinosaurs lived for 150 million years, at one time this was there planet. Our decendents lived underground. Then 65 million ago, a comet six miles wide slammed into the earth, bringing an end to the dinosaurs. Now, if that one event wouldn't have happened, leaving the way for the mammals to come out and take over the world, humans wouldn't be here.

That is a simple fact we would have never survived if the dinosaurs did, we owe our existance to their death. Asteroid impacts are less frequent than when the Earth was young but they happen, and happen quite randomly. We would not be here if it wasn't luck and chance for that comet to hit the earth. How does this speak of creation, when it was clearly chaos that brought on our arrival and the dinosaurs demise.

The bottom line is that we are damn lucky to be here.

Current thinking is that it was a meteor. There seems to be pretty strong evidence of it.

I think that dinosaurs were inter-species symbiotic. inter-species symbiotic means that a species of animal will depend on another species in order to survive. for example, zebras and baboons stay close because zebras have good hearing and baboons have good eyesight therefore they stay close to avoid predators. another example is badgers and coyotes. Badgers are strong and can dig animals out of there dens. then when the prey runs off the coyote will use its speed to catch it. They then share the dinner. Anyway, the theorie is that a large meteor hit the earth 65 million years ago. at the time all the continents were joined together as one supercontinent called Pangea. If dinosaurs were inter-species symbiotic then if a large amount of species went extinct then the species that depended on them would go extinct. Eventually over the course of a few hundred years the whole environment would be thrown outta whack. If alot of herbivores went extinct then that would mean carnivores would extinct because of lack of food. Some people think that carnivores could just eat other carnivores but if they did they wouldnt get there plant nutrients and would die anyway. Carivores got nutrients only from herbivores because of the plants they ate. This is why an environment cant have an unbalanced amount of carnivores vs herbivores. If a meteor caused this much instability then it would cause mass extinction all over the planet. this is the most i ever typed...

If you want more info try reading jurassic park and the lost world. the book versions my Michael Crichton are way better than the movie versions. There my favorite books. my friends are always saying I know to much about this subject for a 13 year old.

hope that was helpful and good luck with learning more about the subject.

"Dinosaurs first existed around 6,000 years ago. God made the dinosaurs, along with the other land animals, on Day Six of the Creation Week (Gen. 1:20–25, 31). Adam and Eve were also made on Day Six—so dinosaurs lived at the same time as people, not separated by eons of time. Dinosaurs could not have died out before people appeared, because dinosaurs had not previously existed, and death, bloodshed, disease and suffering are a result of Adam’s sin (Rom. 5:12,14, 1 Cor. 15:21–22).
Representatives of all the kinds of air-breathing land animals, including the dinosaur kinds, went on board Noah’s Ark. All those
left outside the Ark died in the cataclysmic circumstances of the Flood—many of their remains became fossils.
After the Flood (around 4,500 years ago), the remnant of the land animals, including baby dinosaurs, came off the Ark and lived
in the present world, along with people. Because of sin, the judgments of the Curse and the Flood have greatly changed the
Earth. Post-Flood climatic change, lack of food, disease, and man’s activities caused many types of animals to become extinct. The dinosaurs, like many other creatures, died out. "
Or did they? What defines a dinosaur?

There is no scientific fact of a comet wiping out the dinosaurs. It was a hypothesis that has been disproven since a T Rex bone has been found with red blood cells (protein can't survive 65 million years!)

Scientifically proven fact eh? Can you give me FULL on 100% evidence to prove that they lived during that time line? How can people just assume age from rocks? Fossilization is something that isn't going to take millions and millions of years to happen... (look at this example: http://www.bible.ca/tracks/rapid-fossils-hat.jpg ... now you tell ME that dinosaurs used to wear hats and that it took millions of years for this fossil to form). Fossilization is something that can take only a few years to happen. Rock is something you can't determine the age of - no matter what, because rocks come in layers - and when it rains, their minerals seep through and move deeper into the Earth - no, deeper into the lower strata. We think the lower down you go, the older the rocks get - but FACT: All rocks are porous and minerals PASS through them (and because of gravity) they end up lower down in the strata. Therefore, no dinosaur evidence of fossils will be accurate because mineral from the upper layers have passed through/into it.

More than half of science's "FACTS" are based on chance. Do you believe everything a scientist will tell you? They tell us we came from monkeys and apes... if thats true, why do we still HAVE monkey's and apes? Come on - we are told that evolution is about Survival of the fittest, if thats so - and we were the 'fittest' - why do they still manage to exist all these years? Not only that, but look at the genetic difference EG: Number of chromosomes in a chimp and compare it with a human.

Ok, next point: The BIG BANG "Theory"... it's just a theory, but a lot of people will teach it DID happen. If's that SO, where did the matter come from? Why is it, that just by chance these 'explosions' that were caused, caused the right 'conditions' to form life? And then, what are the chances that these conditions caused the perfect 'weather' for the most simplest form of life? That's a lot of CHANCE there... I wonder who's the guy who sat there are worked out the probability of it all? And where did these 'facts' come from anyway? Wow you sure are assuming a lot from 'luck and chance'... who's the person throwing the dice now?

Why is hard to believe that someone/something created us? Are we afraid of something more superior than us? Are we afraid that our 'knowledge' of playing god is wrong? Come on, we don't know everything.

Not only is that a major problem, but there are BIGGER issues with scientific ‘facts’. They are all connected with each other… I’ve seen a lecture by Professor Veith, and he PROVED science wrong. You don’t believe it, find the DVDS and watch it yourself. You’re bound to go Evolutionist to Creationist by the time the lecture ends.

And finally - I'm new to the bible, so I can't explain the extinction of the dinosaurs (apparently it's mentioned in the bible though) , BUT have you ever thought that things are going extinct because mankind is pushing almost everything to extinction?

My personal theory on dinosaur extinction is that they (and their relatives) were neither cold blooded or warm blooded, but rather in between. Any climate change would have killed them because if it got Hot, they'd wouldn't be able to keep cool, and if it got cold they wouldn't be able to keep warm. Climate change would have killed them either way because they wouldn't have been able to adapt to the situation... this may explain why some raptors started growing 'feathers' - or something that was a cross between feathers and fur... in the end, it would have been disease, or loss of vegatation/prey which would have been a factor too...

i think of that dinosaurs have been inter-species symbiotic. inter-species symbiotic ability that a species of animal relies upon on yet another species as a manner to stay to tell the story. as an occasion, zebras and baboons stay close through fact zebras have stable listening to and baboons have stable eyesight subsequently they stay on the threshold of ward off predators. yet another occasion is badgers and coyotes. Badgers are sturdy and would dig animals out of there dens. then while the prey runs off the coyote will use its velocity to seize it. They then proportion the dinner. besides, the theorie is that a huge meteor hit the earth sixty 5 million years in the past. on the time all the continents have been joined mutually as one supercontinent stated as Pangea. If dinosaurs have been inter-species symbiotic then if a huge volume of species went extinct then the species that depended on them would bypass extinct. ultimately over the path of a few hundred years the entire ecosystem would be thrown outta whack. If alot of herbivores went extinct then that would advise carnivores would extinct through fact of loss of nutrition. some human beings think of that carnivores would desire to in basic terms consume different carnivores yet while they did they wouldnt get there plant food and would die besides. Carivores have been given food in basic terms from herbivores through flowers they ate. for this reason an ecosystem cant have an unbalanced volume of carnivores vs herbivores. If a meteor led to this plenty instability then it might reason mass extinction everywhere in the planet. it relatively is the main i ever typed... in case you like greater info attempt examining jurassic park and the misplaced international. the e book variations my Michael Crichton are far greater powerful than the action picture variations. There my renowned books. my friends are consistently saying i understand to a lot approximately this occasion for a thirteen year old. desire that grow to be effectual and stable success with gaining understanding of greater on the subject of the situation.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Creationists believe the fossils were formed IN THE GROUND, along with the earth around 6000 years ago. They can't possibly answer this question because they don't believe these events took place.

Good question though.

I have a theory, of coarse not pr oven. You hear a lot about global warming. I think global warming is just a reaction of the earth through thousands of years. The warming temperatures of the earth through the years to come will be the earths way of removing its inhabitants. Just like the dinosaurs went through a terribly cold period (the ice age) which killed them.None of this is pr oven, just my thought...........................Oh and God controls everything ......that's created

They do still exist. God intelligently designed them to be invisible. They are now responsible for many of our missing children, and are behind most of the conspiracies of the last 30 years. Including invisible pterodactyls crashing the plane into the towers. And yes.....they took away Jimmy Hoffa.
