In your Christianity conception and practice, do you think both both things (New Age and Christianity to you) can co-exist peacefuly in a same person, in a same community, in a same society?

In other words, do their main ideas and practices go well togeter?

Try to overcome my likely mistakes here and try, please, to answer as intelligently as possible! And, where possible too, try to avoid rare (difficult) words!

Tnx in antecipation!

Lets quantify "help"
Other than bring them "the Lord"
Has the quality of life improved?
Do they live more in harmony with the natural world?
Did suffering end?

wouldn't it bother you that you may be killing people of the same faith you believe in? Would your God approve if you did kill your "brothers"?

Does the tribal history of Muslims (Arabs)make them more conflict and violence prone and does their religion which has been violent and warlike for centuries make them more prone to continue warlike behavior? (hot tempers and high-flown rhetoric)

To me that is worshiping death not life. If you folks wanted to worship the life of a MAN why don't you have him cutting a piece of wood or talking to a crowd or bathing or even that spectacular thing you think he did , walking on water. it would seem much nicer.

Is it that you just desire that there is not a God or do you feel that there is no "proof" of God. If it is the latter, what would it take to convince you that there is a God? What could he do to sway your "opinion"? I mean he has already died and came back to life so what more could you ask?

There's a book I've read, Godless, by Pete Haufman, that brought up this point to consider.
But I've been considering it for a long time.
I've been an atheist for years, but lately I've been finding it attractive to worship false Gods like Pan or fictional characters with power as a God.

What my question is is how is it any different, what I am doing, from what others are doing today with all their religions and false Gods-- thinking that they are real, however, and with mine, I KNOW that they are not real??
There is no difference to me....

"You remind of that kid in elementary school that never fit in with any one group. He just stood on the sideline waiting for someone to say something "cool" and then he would jump in and agree with that person."
