Where has our faith gone to ? Lately, we think that God is extinct! I am first to admit that as well. There is so much hate in society. Death is rising up so quickly, satan is having a ball. Are we giving satan total control of our world? I thank God for the things I do have. Our flesh is never satisfied. I have strong admiration for all those people who serve God faithfully. We always need someone to pray for us. Thank you fellow christians!

I can't remember the name of the U.S. evangelist who came to Australia to preach only to have his tent burned and he was chased out of town by the locals.

Just curious... IF a God existed that was similar in character to Jesus, would you want to know him?

I ask about Jesus as an example of what KIND of god people would desire, if any. He represented the character of someone who taught people and served them, healed the sick and helped them in life, stood up to false authority, defended the poor and the foreigner, treated both the socially powerful and the powerless as equals, and was willing to die to save humanity...

If he existed, theoretically, would you want to know him? If you don't know much of Jesus of the Bible, check out the first 4 books of the new testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke, John

They don't believe in the rules/teachings/traditions/dogma that that particular religion originally conformed to? For example Would you call yourself a Mormon if you didn't really think that Jesus came to America? or Should you really call yourself a Jew if you you believe that Jesus really did raise from the dead after 3 days and that he is the Messiah?

With the influx of Islamic fundamentalist martyrs stepping up to fight coalition forces in Iraq, where will Islam come up with all the virgins that will be waiting for them in heaven?

Is their supply of virgins adequate to provide for any and all martyrs who wish to come forward?

Should our fighting forces in Iraq feel free to send as many martyrs to heaven as they are able or should we worry about there not being enough virgins to go around?

Question Details: I just visited my grandson's book fair at his elementary school in Texas. I noticed that on the shelves were numerous books, at least 5, about witchcraft and incantations and spells, for the gradeschool children to read. There were no Christian books. The company that supplies all of the books for the fair was Scholastic, the world's largest children's book distributor . The woman who was running the book fair, told me that it was because Christian books would be religious. I informed her that Witchcraft, is a religion. Christians, please write to them at the Scholastic official site. Let them know that we want Christian literature for our children to read.
hese books were not Harry Potter. I didn't get the author's names. One was about how to do incantatians and cast spells. I received a reply from Scholastic. Thank you Scholastic.
