Prior to 1948, the Jews did not have a homeland, and went through the worst of persecutions. Since 1948, they seem to have miraculously regained their homeland, the dead sea scrolls, and economic and military success.

What's next?

Such as "Does God know this?" or Does God feel that?"

How in the world do they know what God knows or feels?

OK, the Bible may hint at it, but if I ask "Does God look down on the IRS throwing a family into poverty?", where is the answer in scripture?

If someone is evil and causes suffering for many years, and they themselves has not had anything overly bad happen to them but of their own free will they decide to become good, can't they get into heaven despite all their wrong doings..because god will forgive them anyway? If someone lived life as close to christ as the could but suffered many tradgedies such as losing many jobs, the loss of a child and spouse, illness and then that person says" I've had it I have been keeping my faith but I have had too many tradgedies forget religion"..will this person not go to heaven even though the first 25 years of their life they were in line with christ? will they not get into heaven because they have turned away, while the person with more years of sin has come closer to christ

I mean in Catholic Doctine they do not believe in the Adam and Eve story to be true. So should you really call yourself a catholic if you believe that story to be true? Also should you call yourself a Catholic if you don't believe in the emaculate conception?

If god is and always has been omniscient and he created the world he knew creating the world the way he did would produce the world it did full of suffering which means god wants there to be suffering in the world which means he isn't benevolent. Well if he was real that is. Say no to jesus.

It doesn't matter how much you try not to believe in God, He will continue existing above you.

I am Baptist, and applied for a position as youth pastor to a church. I wasn't sure what denomination it was, but figured they would let me know. I wrote what my doctrinal stance was. They called and said they were Quakers BUT didn't have a big problem with what I belive. The question is, would I.

Please only answer if you know about this...NOT just because you're fishing for points. Thank you.

lets say the bible had never mentioned this, would people still fall down speaking in tongues and what not?

do you think this is more psychological? people that go to churches that dont follow this beleif, u never see anyone fall down talking in tongues. but they can still be on fire for god. (so if it is a "god-given" ability, then does that mean all the churches are wrong that dont promote this behavior?)

so why is it only people who are introduced to this event, ever do it?

Well first of all when I read the bible compare all the details which I have, I find out that there is more good than there is bad. But, non-believers or athiests likes to magnify those points just becuz they do not believe. Secondly I have noticed that the bible had already stated that the earth is round and is suspended in space (Isiah 40:22 & Job 26:7). Scientist did not know this until Isaac Newton pointed this out to them. Before Newton Scientists actually believed there was a number limit to the stars (i.e. Ptomely predicted dogmatically that the stars were actually 1056 exactly) while the stars were innumerable stated in Genesis 15:5. What i your opinion athiests about such things. Im not religious nor do I go to church, BUT I truly believe in G-d becuz im a seeker of truth not a listener to foolishness.

In the Gospel of John, Verses 6:53-54, Jesus says:

"I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Can someone please tell me what this means?

Thank you

Is anyone afraid or self-conscious to pray, or afraid to ask God questions? If so, why?

I'm wondering if some are afraid because they were told not to approach God, or that it has to be done in a certain way, or that God doesn't hear you?
