Where has our faith gone to ? Lately, we think that God is extinct! I am first to admit that as well. There is so much hate in society. Death is rising up so quickly, satan is having a ball. Are we giving satan total control of our world? I thank God for the things I do have. Our flesh is never satisfied. I have strong admiration for all those people who serve God faithfully. We always need someone to pray for us. Thank you fellow christians!

people who don't believe in God find no use for any mention of Him anywhere basically. Yes, the world is going downhill quickly... faster it seems than what I would have guessed... but the time is close, I think... and no matter what, do not think that GOD is extinct... for in thinking it, He will draw away from you... keep close to Him in these days... flesh will never be satisfied, ever... for it is of this world... keep praying and seeking Him.

That's fine... bring all of that in. And I'll bring my Pagan Gods along for the ride too. Maybe a High Priest will run for Gov of your state? Not that you could really do too much about it... as it's Unconstitutional to demand a person be of one religion or another when serving in a Gov't office.

I don't think many Christians understand... they have refused others for so long their own Freedom of Religion. Now that people of other Religions are standing up for that freedom, somehow, some of you Christians seem to think we're attacking your own freedom. Many don't realize that Christianity isn't under attack... other Religions want their freedoms as well, Equally. Now, if you're willing to allow ALL other Religions the same Freedom you are asking for right now... then no one will have a problem with it. But.... I just don't see that happening. Simply because too many are willing to take away the Freedom of Choice that their own God gives to Everyone...

I agree that it seems people are denying God more and more. But I know that God is always with us, whether He is put on display or not. We can pray anywhere and at any time, as long as it is not disrupting something, like a classroom. We can do it quietly or silently. God still hears us. I am thankful for separation of church and state because it will stop some beliefs, such as islam, from taking over our country. I am not thankful for the disrespect of God in our country though or for the suggestion that we should be free from religion, instead of having freedom of religion.

May God Bless you.

Because religion in general and Christianity in particular has no place in our schools and our government. But for some reason, christians think they are special, that they should have an in where no one else does. But to avoid discrimination, religious inclusion is an all or nothing proposition.
So I'll tell you what, I'll compromise. We can have a rotating schedule. We'll make the kids all pray to a different god (including Satan, since Satanism is now a religion and there are lots of people who believe he is a god) each day of the school year (it will probably take that long to cover them all). Then we'll work out a rotation for public buildings. Each day we will put up a sign proclaiming the religion for that day and their commandments--which, of course, will have to be followed on that day, because that is only fair.
What do you think, does that sound fair to you?

Only an idiot would be bothered by the presence of a word.

I think the atheists want to remove the word "God" from everywhere to punish the Christians.

And why punish the Christians? Heh, I don't have time or space to list all of the offenses.

Dunno about you, but my faith hasn't gone anywhere. My faith doesn't depend on being shouted from the rooftops and forced into everyone's lives in order for me to honor my Gods and follow my beliefs.

By the way - for Gary:

"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

I don't want to hear about your unsatisfied flesh.

School should be neutral, so everyone can be comfortable.
Besides they can always pray silently, didn't Jesus say to pray in secret ?

Because our country's founding document, the Constitution, expressly forbids favoritism toward a specific religion - in this case, Christianity.
