Im looking for help narrowing my search on this. There are so many conflicting sources of information. If anyone has done this homework in the past , can you point me to a credible source?
If not take a guess and comment on the source of your opinion.

Would someone care to take a crack at this? What do you think of when you hear the word Soul? What about when you hear Spirit? And last what about Spiritual?

Are we supernatural beings wandering in this natural state? Or natural beings using our minds to create a super nature?

I'm not quite sure what free will is supposed to mean. But God creates us exactly how he wants and he knows what we will do, completely. If there is still a chance we will go to Heaven or Hell, where does that chance come in? In what way can we affect the outcome---what way has God left that to us?

I'm trying to ask this as diplomatically as possible. Last time I asked it I was met with a litany of insults and promises of hellfire. But I really would like an honest answer to this question:

If God is everywhere, does that include a bucket of vomit?

As I see it there are only three possible answers to this question

1. Yes
2. God is not everywhere
3. A bucket of vomit falls outside the definition of everywhere

Tell me your thoughts on this.

If your "God" really existed and really wanted people to love each other without discrimination why not start by NOT discriminating against people by giving them only babies of their own race!

Why do you pray to a racist "God"!?

Chrisians are angels and I'm sure that they are going to heaven,
and they're so modest that they know this for sure as well, but why do they harass others? Shouldn't they be nice?

I know that there are a lot of people who believe that this really happened, but are there any scientific explanations for this? Or is this perhaps some sort of metaphor? It just seems a bit far-fetched to me.

Okay for all of you that give all of these lame examples of how evolution is flawed, did you ever consider all of the examples of how you belief in creation is tremendously flawed? I guess I should refer to the bible which is such a load of crap that I have no idea how you have the nerve to criticize anything else. First of all the purpose of science is to find the truth; plan and simple. Scientist debate amongst each other because they are supposed to. They are never supposed to accept any idea on faith and never test or question it.

The purpose of religion is to force you to believe in every word without question. It makes you believe in the supernatural no matter what. Religion is based on faith not fact. So before you rant on about the flaws in science, remember that those flaws can exist, however that doesn’t mean the whole theory itself is incorrect. Science never claims any theory to be absolute and unquestionable. Your belief claims that you believe fully and with

Sometimes I see a dog with eyes closed with nose pointing to sky and weeping, are they praying? I saw cat suddenly drop to floor and put front paws over its ears and go in a trance. What is happening? Even the fish swimming backstroke in the aquarium when one fish dies. Or prayer is exclusively a human indulgence. What would a Martian think if they saw large assemblies of humans indulging in ritualistic behavior ?

If my understanding of Pasacal's Wager is correct, the chances of Cthulluh's return might be infitely small, however the damage that he can do to humanity is infitely vast. Given that Cthulluh only comes to wipe the Earth clean of humanity for the return of the old ones, shouldn't we as humans be free to do whatever we'd like, since the reward of temporary pleasure in the face of coming infinite destruction becomes infinite by comparison with the time remaining?
