I think they do. In the begining GOD said even the rocks will worship him so I guess animals do too. They are alive more then rocks.

Animals are here for our use and not for the adoration of God !
The weeping dog is probably physically or morally suffering through bad treatment or disease. As for the cat you seem to describe an epileptic fit. Having said this, animals do recognize death and can be traumatized by it, see how many times cattle runs away from slaughter houses ? Furthermore, animals do have group souls but, can gain an individual souls through love shown to another animal or to their master (s). What does it matter what a Martian thinks about anything, let us keep to our planet!

I read all of your answers, but hear the word of God
Revelation 5:13
"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power , be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
In Phillipians 2:10 & 11 ".....every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord....."
Every area of creation will praise the Lord. John heard the creatures everyone praising the Lord. If man could love like my dog loves, what a world this would be. This verse does not confuse angels or man with creatures or animals, birds, fish, etc.
Angels and people are mentioned 2 or 3 verses up, this verse speaking of creatures is talking about animals, birds and fish.
The Sri Lanka tsunami made mention of all the animals had fled. God puts another sense in animals that we are not aware of unless we walk in the Spirit. Many storms have been determined by the actions of animals before the storm hits. In this way they have saved many lives. God gaves us dominion over them knowing they would help man in many ways.

If animal's can communicate subconsciously with themselves and are aware of their outside surrounding then they could think about the events happening to them and possible feel some emotions or have thoughts about their situation. If they are unsure with what to do then they will search for answers. If something doesn't provide these answers then they could dwell on them and if they have the mental capacity to communicate their thoughts then they could subconsciously ask for help or pray over their problem. Whether or not they identify that there is a god or supreme being to which they are projecting these theoretical crys for help to is beyond my capcity to say because I'm not a puppy.

That's a good question. Except I can't truly answer it because I'm not a dog/cat/fish, etc. =P We are a part of the animal kingdom though, aren't we? I mean not all animals other than humans are stupid. I think most are actually smarter. They don't try to make life difficult by coming up with random insults at each other, or they don't fight over money. Lol. I think animals do have beliefs of their own. n_n I mean, my dog worships food, my dad worships the computer and I worship freetime (from homework. Yay!)

Hmm...sounds like those animals were in need of a vet. Animals don't really have a concept of God or sin or anything of that nature. If you're not aware of such practices, you don't do them. That's the case with animals. It's safe to say it's a human ritual.
I'm not even gonna touch the martian thing. lol

No. Animal's actions are based solely on instinct. They have no concept of what would constitute as an act of prayer. Sure, you could argue that your dog worships you, but it is an instinctive reaction to the one who feeds him and gives him the things he needs. Only man was gifted by the creator with the thought process to realize that he was created and therefore owes his existence to a divine or powerful benefactor. "Let us make man in our own image"...the thought process, the ability to distinguish right from wrong ( freewill or conscience ) is exclusive to man..As to the martian if there ever is one, he will understand. God created him too, remember?

They easily have considerable thoughts. they have the potential to verify. it fairly is nearly all of the version between people and ,say, birds. Given those the thoughts are just about as genuine as actuality one will no longer be able to cope with unexpectedly and not utilising a palliative. that as quickly as God enters the equation as a rigidity palliative, a parental determine, a faux wish of an exceedingly quickly soreness alleviation. besides the undeniable fact that i urge to selection on the subject of choose. Whit different palliatives ,say, intoxicants. The tragedy happens as quickly as we obvious genuine excitement for the sake of a myth, as quickly as we are able to do many things to greater efficient actuality yet refrain from doing because of this existence-long habit.

Its funny to see people answer like they really know.
Animals have there means of communication to each other, so obviously they arnt dumb. Whether or not they pray or not, can never be answered, because they communicate in a language that we can no comprehend, but its better to keep an open mind, and instead of trying to see that "no they can't" its better to keep an open mind until something like that can possibly be proven.

Unfortunately I am not Dr. Doolittle, but my belief is animals don't pray. Gensis says we were put here to care for them because they were created for God's pleasure, but we were created in His image.
Genisis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
