According to Hindu mythology, thousands of years ago sages who had the power to look in the past and future of the entire universe recorded the future of people who were living or going to live. There are different schools of thought as to the author. Some say that they were written by Ganesha. Others claim that they were written down by different Hindu sages, who had divine revelations, on palm leaves. Some of the sages were Agasthiya, Brighu, Kausika and Brahma. This school of astrology was made famous by astrologers around the Vaitheeswaran Temple in the state of Tamil Nadu. The text is written in Vatteluttu, which is an ancient Tamil script. The predictions were written in verse and are subject to interpretation by the astrologer. This is an art passed down the years from one generation to the other.
The astrologer claim that these predictions were made for all human beings who have lived or will ever live.

To know the truth they went to parmeshwar who told
who ever sees the begining and end of jyothirlinga will
be great. Accordingly vishnu went to patala and brahma
went about onthe way he met mogali pushpa which
told i am pushpa arpith to linga. When brahma asked the
pushpa whether he had seen the beginning of linga pushpa
replied he had never seen. when brahma and vishnu went
to parmeshwar : vishnu told he had not seen the end but
brahma informed he had seen the beginning push is the
sakshi. At this parmeshwar became angry at the untruth
of brahma accordingly he cut his fifth head and cursed
moghali pushp herein it will never be used in pooja.
As Jyothirlinga has no beginning and end.
