I'm trying to ask this as diplomatically as possible. Last time I asked it I was met with a litany of insults and promises of hellfire. But I really would like an honest answer to this question:

If God is everywhere, does that include a bucket of vomit?

As I see it there are only three possible answers to this question

1. Yes
2. God is not everywhere
3. A bucket of vomit falls outside the definition of everywhere

Tell me your thoughts on this.

Since the awareness of God is everywhere rather than His being.

I would say yes its inside everything. Cause he can see the bucket of vomit and know exactly whats going on in there, and what germs may be coveting and and rambling about the poor food taste of the human they were in a minute back :D

Personally I dont find it insulting to say God is everywhere unless you limit His existence to that particular place like lets say Hes in nothing BUT a bucket of vomit.

Even if you were to say hes in nothing but a human, that would still sound insulting to the His awareness and limitless form.

I can't imagine how this wouldn't be an insult, but okay.

In my reckoning at least when saying God is everywhere it means two things. One, God's spirit is everywhere, no matter where you are in or off of the Earth God can see you and is with you, so in that sense it is more like he's there watching you hurl rather than actually IN the bucket.

In the other sense God is a part of everything that is created because they were created as a part God. So in that sense not only is God in the bucket, but he's/she's part of the vomit too...and the bucket. And a part of your brain, and your heart, and the tree outside your house. Everything means everything.

Are both possible? Yup. How? Its a philosophy and a matter of FAITH, not scientific theory.

Spirtually, God is everywhere! A bucket of vomit is a physical thing and therefore God is not "inside" a bucket of vomit.

I prefer to think the devil is in the bucket of vomit.

God made rocks. But God is not in the rocks. They are separate.

Define 'everywhere'.

LMAO good question. I guess he is. Poor Guy/Gal!
Or-maybe God just has the ABILITY to be everywhere.
Possibilities are endless when it comes to things like this.

EDIT-The answers that got here before me(Gah!I've been beaten!)have very good points too.Without the insults of course.....
