As humans, what is your concept of God? Obviously my question only applies to people who believe in God. So if you do not then please do not answer. Not that I think everyone has to be a Christian, but if you don't believe in the Christian God then it's not really possible to give an answer to this particular question.

Here's something to get Creationists riled up:

How much DNA do you have in common with other living things?

about 50% with bananas

about 90% with mice

about 97.7% with gorillas

about 98.4% with chimpanzees

about 99.9% with the person next to you

how come you can't see something that is so obvious to us agnostics?

religion is full of so many holes, listening to christians and muslims and hindus compete over whose God is 'the best' is pathetic. surely you can't all have the best God, right?

why does the new world translation in john 3:16 say Exercises faith, when king james bible says beliveith in him
beliveith means: accept as true, accept as truthful....
exercises means: Physical movement, practice of skill or procedure, piece of work.....
does this mean that the witnesses are taught to mostly do jehovahs work more then to accept jevhovah as true in order to make it to ever lasting life?

Allah (The One & The Only Real God) has created jinns and humans only for "Worship" him alone..
Worship means Most love & Most submission..
and we can't achieve Worship unless we love him..
and we can't achieve Love unless we know him..
and we can't Know him unless he send us Messages..
and Messages comes by Inspiration to chosen Honest Human..
(Messengers like Abraham, Mosus, Jesus and Mohamed)..
and messenger has to Relate Allah's words to his Own People..
But Last Message & Last Messenger come to Whole People till The Day of Judgment..

Note :
Life is a means to Worship Allah..
It's like a bridge to The Hereafter.

In a recent ABC poll, 83% of Americans identified themselves as Christian.

Does anyone think that this means that 83% of Americans believe in talking serpents or believe that God really stopped the Sun in the sky so some human beings would have more light to kill other human beings?

There are Christians, who believe the Jews go to heaven even if they do not trust in Christ for their salvation. I think Dispinsationlists in particular hold to this, but am not certain that all dispinsationlists do.

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son" John 3:18

Why do they believe this in light of this verses , and many others that state you must trust in Christ alone for your salvation.

"For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16

You know, the words that appear on the crest or emblem of your nation.

Please also provide or name the country or town.
The reason I am asking this in R&S is to help us understand why certain things in the world are the way they are. We should be able to learn some fascinating things about the nature of our civilisation.

The best answer is given by how you understand the influence of the slogan, past present or future if you can be so bold. :-)

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

Jeremiah 8:8
'How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?
