Here's something to get Creationists riled up:

How much DNA do you have in common with other living things?

about 50% with bananas

about 90% with mice

about 97.7% with gorillas

about 98.4% with chimpanzees

about 99.9% with the person next to you

Why would that rile anyone up? The complete lack of a scientific explanation for the sudden existence of DNA is the biggest hole in Evolutionary theory today. Even on NOVA they admit that they don't have the foggiest idea how all those ancient proteins arranged themselves into a DNA molecule.

So what if they are all similar anyway? That just shows that God has a specific style for his creation.

So who made the DNA ??? In all of recorded human history , man & his science has yet to produce DNA by any means !! The only thing that can produce DNA is DNA !! Matter cannot create itself , it cannot happen according to man`s own laws of science !! God being the beginning of all knowledge is the author of the DNA code !

So what? Ya know I have my own theory on this and it is this: To God, all creation is just claymation sort of, so if it says he took clay or dirt or whatever (it is slightly different depending which version of the Bible you read) and made man, I have no problem thinking that clay could have already been a gorilla but, to God it was still clay so o.k. he used a gorilla for our base but, that doesn't mean we are gorillas. He made a different species all together from that gorilla clay.

So we are evolved from Bananas?
I think you just lost the argument. I was willing to agree to Ape, but never a fruit. You might be half fruit, but me hey, I don't swing that way!
OOH! OOH! OOH!
