When we talk about people having souls we mean the part of them that makes up who they are - intellegence, personality, awareness. It's the part that endures after the body has died.

People only have one soul (otherwise you'd have two "people" in one body) and God is the same.

God does however have three distinct personalities - but they are all part of the whole. They are seperate, yet the same.

The best explanation I ever heard was this: take a bowl and place three distinct drops of water in the bowl. They are three seperate drops. Now tip the bowl until the drops run together. Now you only have one drop of water - but the three individual drops of water are all contained in that drop - they still exist as part of the whole.

It's a simplistic example, I know, but it makes it a little easier to understand.

I don't think it is considered that God has souls'. There is the trinity- the belief that God has three different parts to him. each one is not thought to have it's own soul that I know of- this is how it was explained to me:
We each have our own labels we are known by, like daughter, student, friend, employee ect. These refect different actions we perform and how we are viewed by others. We are still the same person but we have different aspects to us. This is the same with the Trinity. All three (Holy Ghost, Jesus, God) are the same being- just reflected in different aspects.

You might say this is true in a sense. There are God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Three seperate beings but all in unity and one accord and all doing the will of the Father. So I quess they could be of the same soul.

God is a "TRIUNE" God. That means three in one (person). Jesus is God in flesh, the Holy Spirit is a spirit God, God the maker is God father. Hard to believe it...three beings as ONE, all for one purpose, to administer to our one and only soul....
You can't help but believe when you see, feel, smell his majesty all around you. I can't create a flower!!

Not sure. Next time you are talking to Him, ask. Are you
insinuating that God has multiple personalities? This would certainly explain his sense of humor.

No, if you mean the belief in Trinity, that's not true.

It's pretty simple.
Just like you, your mom and your sister are not the same person that is how Jesus, Jehovah and holy spirit aren't the same.

Each is one of it's own. Different....
