That is the absolute most retarded, ignorant thing I've ever heard in my life. I must say, I'm speechless. Let me get this right...Let's let girls get CANCER as a means to discourage pre-marital sex. Are you f***ing KIDDING ME?? Are you LISTENING to yourself???

You call yourself a Christian, and yet you seem to be looking FORWARD to telling some young girl that it SERVES HER RIGHT to be suffering from cancer. You're so proud of yourself...you must be the only person in the world without sin. I mean, Jesus himself said "He who is without sin cast the first stone." You're casting away, so you must tell us all your secret about how you came to such perfection.

I promise you...this is NOT what Jesus would do. He would be disgusted by your arrogance.

You think a vaccine is the thing that encourages sex ? Are you kidding ? By the way, YOU should stop scape-goating the Christians you *******

Oh, and conversely, if you think YOU are Christian, you need to do some reading and learn some smarts about true christianity, change your heart to allow people life more abundant, and health and well-being, love etc... it even says explicitly, do not put a stumbling block in peoples way... furthermore, their deeds are their business not yours. Mind your own business. Don't be such a nerdy Pharisee

The vaccine doesn't approve of pre-marital sex, PEOPLE do. It's up to a person to decide if they will do the act or not, and vaccines don't have anything to do with it. The vaccine is absolutely important for good health and well-being, and not using it is silly, in my opinion.

I am a christian and have not stopped my child from having the vaccine. I took her in to get it, because I love her. At no time do I consider it a go ahead to have premarital sex. A young married women can get this type of cancer too. Why would anyone consider this anything more then preventive medicine.

A vaccine will keep a woman alive and save her from dying of cancer. Is this something any Christian would want to do?
Your facts are a bit confused. Besides, I don't think there is a vaccine to prevent a woman from developing cervical cancer.
That is what rubbers are for.

There is no reason to block access to any vaccine. BUT, I do feel that the commercials advertising the vaccine are being untruthful since they conveniently forget to mention that the virus in question is an STD.

Only radicals would believe that such a vaccine (as well as any contraception method) would encourage pre-marital sex. A vaccine for any illness is a good thing, and it would be wise of parents to have their children vaccinated.

This guy has a point. Fundamentalists in Texas do object to the vaccine being given to teenage girls because they say it will "promote" pre martial sex. Fundamentalist do enjoy impeding on the right of others, while viciously railing against anyone who comment negatively on their practices. Why can't they mind their own business.

"Is it good for Christians to block access to the cervical cancer vaccine?"

No, it's NOT good.

If they do not want their daughters to have it, so be it.

Other parents should have the opportunity to provide this vaccine to their daughters.

Also, if you think that youngsters are NOT having sex because of a far-off future threat of cancer, you're sadly mistaken. so preventing the cancer won't mean that more kids are having sex.
