Atheists love to take time out of their common law marriages to yell and scream at other people who don't love their hippie belief system .

I love your demeanor. You are a true Christian warrior, just like Jesus commands us to be.

A true atheist feels there is no God. An atheist does not need a type of religion to worship something that is non-existent. If they are in need of a place to discuss atheism and spirituality that is derived from some other spirit, they need a category under society and culture called Atheism & Spirituality. I do not understand how atheism falls under the religious category. Is there religion for atheists who worship nothing?
If so, what do they worship? Then, worshipping whatever it may be that they would worship would mean that they believe that something is their god. That would be the opposite of the meaning of the term atheist. If they are spiritual without a belief in God, what inspires them?
Perhaps the proper listing is just atheism, still listed in the society ahd culture section.

To discuss religion and its impact on the world.

We aren't here necessarily to upset Christians (for the heck of it). We answer questions on here and ask questions just like everyone else. We state OUR side and why we have no belief in gods.

Let me make it clear to you:
You are writing in capital letters which implies shouting.
You do not "love" us. You don't even know us. And shouting doesn't show neighborly love.
You didn't challenge us. You asked us a question and we answered. Simple as that.
You didn't WIN anything. You're just acting like a child and you're 32 years old.
Yes, the forum is on religion. AND we're discussing religion! *gasp* SHOCKER! We don't have to BE religious to discuss it. I can ask questions on math in the mathematics forum even though I'm not a mathematician.
On the contrary, SOME atheists are spiritual. They may be Buddhists.

This is a forum ABOUT religion, not a religious forum.

I'm not a 120 year old either, but I answer questions about Victorian history. Why? Because I have an interest, and the History section offers me a chance to explore that interest..

everyone has an opinion, and this question has been asked a hundred times, and yeah, it doesn't make any sense at first, but I think that atheists must have an agenda, much like the moth and the flame. Either that, or they are not who they say they are, but some do have some wonderful theological input that makes one wonder. Besides, we all start out that way, not knowing Him, not believing Him. One has to Get to Know God. It just doesn't happen, you know. First, you have to have a good teacher. and then, there has to be a...question, and then an...answer. Kinda like: "Do you love me?" "Yes, I love you, but I want to do something else right now." or "No, I hate you I hate you I hate you" God understands these things.

Your logic is flawed. You are determined to think what you want to think, despite any information you are given.

I am here because I do not believe that God exists. GOD. G-O-D. That has to do with religion. You also seem to have overlooked the fact that when you make a claim, such as "God exists", and you have no evidence or justification for claiming that to be true, you will be challenged by people who wish to point out that not everyone is as DELUDED as you are.

You are a true Christian retard. "Just like Jesus commands you to be." You are proving a point I've made many times, which is that Christians become COMPLETELY UNGLUED when they are contradicted, and they like to tell other people where they should and should not be, what they should and should not do, what they should and should not learn in school, whether they should or should not fight in wars over oil, etc. ad nauseam.

Not everyone thinks that you are good people. Not everyone is buying your bullshit. Not everyone thinks that America is a great country. Not everyone voted for Bush. Not everyone believes that your imaginary daddy in the sky exists.

Deal with it.

Atheism is a belief..a belief is self. We have a right to be where we want and Christians cannot control that. So either deal with it, or go to another forum. Admit it, your belief system is so weak it does not stand up to a real challenge. how long have you doubted Christianity?

I am a christian.......But 2 answer your question it's b/c they want 2 speak there minds. They can express them selves in anyway they want 2......It's just how they do it is the part that matters. We do the same, by being rude. B/c u can't force some 1 into a religion, it has 2 be their will.

The topic is "Society & Culture > Religion & Spirituality". I am here because Religion is having harmful effects on the Society & Culture I live in.

You're free to have your delusions if you don't impose them on me and my children. Once you cross that line, I will find (peaceful) ways to resist, including using my rights for free speech to speak up in forums like this one.

Atheists like to talk about the effects of religion and spirituality in society. As you can see, the catogory "Religion and Spirituality" is the subject in the Society and Culture section. We are here to talk about it just as you would talk about the Ancient Gods of Ancient Greece.

Why are there so many Christians in the Religion section? I thought the Bible and God had all of your answers....

- We're interested in religion.
- Religion affects us daily.
- We actually know a lot more about religion than self-professing believers do.
