Aishwarya is NOT FIGHTING because she is an intelligent girl who knows that there is nothing stupid about accepting the suggested remedies to save herself from the evil effects of the "Mangal Dosh".
If you are educated, it does not make things you do not understand or cannot find a scientific explanation for, become stupid or appear meaningless. If you think such things are "stupid", it means only one thing. That you are stupid. Too stupid not to understand the hidden dangers of not heeding the advice of your elders when there is time to change your destiny and neutralize the bad luck that is about to strike you.
Scientists cannot find a scientific explanation for the mysterious and unexplained turn of events occuring in a person's life because of the astrological placements of the planets in one's horoscope, nor can they explain the reason for the sudden tragic turn of events that overcomes a person's life, which are very often foretold fairly accurately, by learned astrologers from a person's horoscope. So why would or should any intelligent person, particularly Aishwarya, take the risk of diving headlong into a life of tragedy and unhappiness, when there are remedies to avoid and stop such terrible things from happening?
I am sure Aishwarya will never compromise, when it comes to accepting and doing whatever is expected of her, to fight the Mangal Dosh in her life, that is threatening to rob her of happiness and peace of mind, and I wish her every happiness and joy in her life.

What would you do when you are amidst an imprtant part of your life? Pray to god that everything goes fine, wont you? Keep your fingers crossed, won't you? She's just doing the same. She would not love to take any chances with that decision of hers. That's her business. Why do we have to care about it?
Or is it that we still need a leader or an idol whom we can follow? Why can't we just let these people live there own lives? Why do we wanna super-impose the whole model of the society on them? Funny...

Yeah I agree, the actors must stand up for everything which is not right. Sometimes this gives some pressure for the politicians to make some decisions. I really admire India as they practise democracy and have freedom to protest if it is not right. But stop those silly things like dousing oneself in fire, I think that is too much for a modern society. There are other ways to avenue your thoughts.

I agree that chatting like "lol oh my gosh like totally" should be against community guidelines, because usually its not really a question. Its just that these community guidelines are so strictly enforced by people who do not work for yahoo that things like "Is this a good C++ program for a beginner?" is considered chatting, which obviously it is far from the original "chatting" rule.

It is the way she is brought up.
Her mind is filled with some sort of belief that leads her the way she lives today.
We all have different views in life. Her views lead her life. Let her decide what is stupidity and what is prudence.
When deciding right and wrong, we all favour our likes. She has her freedom to favour her own likes as far as it doesn't hurt others.
