How would this look in God's eyes? Would I be sinning if I were to do this? What does the Bible say about divorce and marriage. Thanks!

You made a vow before God For better or worse. The only way you are able to divorce is if your husband had an affair with another women. If you Divorce him for anything other than this reason and remarry you will be guilty of adultry. If you divorce your not elgible to date or remary.

Mt 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is DIVORCEd committeth adultery.

Divorce is okay, but to remarry is a Sin... And this is why.... When you are married you are taking and giving before god and what god has brought together let no man put as sunder.... if you have to divorce your husband, you cannot have another until he is passed away.... this is because it is Fornication.... If he passes away, then he is no longer here and it is better to marry then to burn.... So yes you can divorce, but NO you cannot remarry

He says, "I'm married to the backslider". He also lets us know how he feels with the prophet and his wife (Gomer I think is her name - old testament) when he continually makes him go back to her, even as she goes out and prostitutes herself to show how he feels about the nation of Israel. He will never leave them. From that I'd say that divorce is not God's desire, but I heard a preacher say to those who felt they sinned after they got a divorce that, God forgives all sin so go on and live. I'm not saying we're to sin and say God will forgive it but if you're trying to get away from an abusive relationship or something that will harm you but are still suffering from guilt I'd say go on and do it.

Sin is taken care of by the sacrificial gift of Jesus. It is better to stay married if you can, but God hates where you are at if you are miserable. Try to work things out. But if you cannot, God will forgive you. Try to not to repeat the same mistake again.

Divorce is a bad sin, pray to God to help you in your relationship, and maybe seek help, and advice.
