You are sinners?

-I know I am- and I agree with what Paul says about being the worst of sinners....But I also know that through Jesus Christ, I have been redeemed, washed clean and forgiven- which I do not deserve. And it is only by His grace as Ephesians 2:8 says. I have sinned against God, and I need His forgiveness- and that is only through Jesus Christ, for He died on the cross and rose again so that those who believe would be saved. Even if you think you are the worst of sinners you can be saved through Christ's blood, when you believe what He did and repent of sin, put your trust in Him. Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way.

I mean, seriously faced with such incredible ignorance doesn't it make you feel like giving up - people who are only interested in faith are immune to reason and logic - Yahoo forbids ridicule but often that's the only sensible response to statements like 'evolution is just a theory' or 'if we came from monkeys why are there still monkeys' - How can you win an argument with someone who is intellectually unable to understand anything more complicated than 'God did it.'?

Don't anybody say I'm pretending to be an atheist - the theists are just plain wrong. It's just frustrating they can't see it.

wicca,agnostics,evolutionists...etc all claim the same

I am a Catholic/ Christian and I was very offended by what Bender said, He had no right in judging and pushing his belief on to everyone like he did. I believe everyone has a choice in what they believe and no one should attack any one like Bender did.

Please do not blame us for what he said

You were not there to hear God's word? Most extra-scriptual evidence shows the bible to be written by men, who by definition are imperfect. Then, take into account that the Bible has been translated and retranslated and transcribed and retranscribed hundreds of thousands of times. The oldest copy of the Bible dates from 1000 AD.

You can believe whatever the hell you want, but whay would you ask us non-Bible belivers to accept the text as 'fact'?

It is true that “pranayam,” the control of breath and several main yogasanas, is the main component of Yoga.

This gives better health for all, as has been proved through the world.

Why is this Catholic priest against Yoga?

Is it because it's been developed, over centuries, by the Hindus?

Why is he opposed to children getting better health for free?

If Yoga is just a Hindu religious practice why is it so popular even in the West?

Why do millions of Christians (commonly called 'sun-worshippers') go on annual 'pilgimages' (some more often) to sunny beaches?

I have been reading all these ugly questions which is really just slurs against us as christians.These atheist has just depressed me with all this ugly talk..We don,t bash them,they are accusing us of what they are doing.I was told that IF we just quit replying to their so-called questions that they would go away.If you are as tired of this as I am ,why do we rely to them ?,they want to rile us up.They are doing this on purpose and having fun with us.We don,t do them this way,so why do we bother to let them keep this up..If we open a question and it is a slur to us as christians why do we bother to fuss with them,thats what they want us to do...We are just playing into their hands.As i was writing this to you the scripture came to me where Jesus said quote"Why cast your pearls against the swine? God Bless them if they don,t believe I remember the scripture Jesus told us to let our answers be yea or nay....Let us try and make peace here...and not be upset,just pray for them...Thank you

So why in Mark 11:24 is the mandate to "only believe", but in 1 John 5:14, it says prayers are answered according to "His will"?? Why do these contradict one another?

Is the Bible false or does faith not work?? Which is it????????
