Did he learn it after sin began in the Garden of Eden, did he learn it from God, or did he just do it using his "animal" nature?

He learned how to know Eve after the sin began in the Garden of Eden. That sin was a case of DISOBEDIENCE. It did not have nothing to do with eating an apple or some kind of fruit! Neither did it have anything to do with the snake beguiling Eve either. If you read in the latter chapters of Ezekiel you will see there was a high arch or cherubim angel that God had commanded to guard the two humans in the Garden of Eden> He was the so called "snake" metaphor and his trick worked and as a result CAIN was born.

Dear! which sense are you talking about? Things of the spirit are spiritually discerned and cannot be discerned by your imperfect sense which is heavily flawed and steeped in the shallow perceptions of the flesh. Our relationship with God is a belief and trusting relationship and it can only be deepened as we study the word more and more which develops our spirituality; that very deep and rich reservoir of wisdom that will give us greater understanding of events and issues around us. Science as we know it today has come to know that a man uses just about 1% of his brain power during his life. Your brain is divided into two major lobes-the left and the right. One of them controls objective reasoning which is your senses while the other controls subjective reasoning which is far more superior than the senses. Please beloved! I would urge you not to follow the current rave. God is real and His love is real. Study the bible more and meditate upon it and you will be richly blessed! The points you raised could to you be baffling but if I have the time, I would show you that they are indeed nothing because if you go back into history you will find out the dynamics of human evolution and how God has ordered these things over time. Have a nice day and be richly blessed as you seek him more and more.

To enhance Jack T's reply, read Moses 5: 1-3 in the Pearl of Great Price.

The scriptures, quite naturally, is not explicit in revealing the nature of consummation between Adam and Eve. I imagine the first physical union came naturally to them, either by instinct or by playing around with one another.

The original sin commited by Adam and Eve was pride and disobedience and not sexual as some make out,so they only knew each other sexualy after they were put out of the garden.

I'm sure he watched the birds and the squirrels. They had childbirth in the garden of Eden if any of that's true. God told Eve from that moment on (eating the fruit) there would be pain in childbirth. They must have had kids in there.

Since God had given Eve to Adam to be his wife, then sex between them would be no sin. In fact, it would be obedience to God, since He told them to be fruitful and multiply. It was only after they disobeyed God that they learned shame.

It was after they ate the fruit. Before that they were as children. Not knowing right from wrong. God commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth, but they didn't understand what that meant, not until after they ate the fruit.

I would say it happened just like it does today. He saw her and he "schwinged it"

he would have "known" her even without the sin. They automatically noticed they were naked and covered their genitalia. they had genitalia, so obviously they were going to reproduce one way or the other. Just a lot more painless it would have been for eve.
