They complain about Harry Potter, abortion, video games, gays and lesbians, atheists...the list goes on and on. Who the heck put Christians in charge of telling (or enforcing) their beliefs on others? Why aren't they more concerned about their own lives instead of being so concerned about others?

My wife has forbidden me from going to strip clubs. It’s a sin and she says no married man has any business in a place like that. Honestly I’ve never cared for that kind of environment, so that’s not an issue. That said, she feels the same way about Hooters. Hooters I feel is fair game. I’m not going there to have some woman dance on my lap. I’m going there to look at some pretty women, eat some good food, and have a couple of beers.

Is my wife being too harsh? What's the harm in me going to Hooters every once in a while?

This question is directed toward those Christians (and any others) who are oppose abortion rights for women.

Would you advocate that every fetus be issued a birth certificate (or its equivalent) immediately after conception so that the fetus' right to life is guaranteed as legal human being?

I'm not a very religious person, I guess I take the standpoint of an agnostic, we can never know for sure but it is possible. Anyways, a couple years ago I lost someone very close to me and my whole family, none of whom are very religious. My mom for example confuses me, she doesn't believe the Bible, is all for evolution, but has always believed in spirits and ghosts. She thinks he's been calling her on the phone from the beyond and that she saw his ghost in our house. It's hard for me to believe in spirits, because I've never had any kind of contact with them, but part of me is jealous that my mom (and his mom, who also claims he's been contacting her but she's very religious) say this stuff. I've haven't experienced anything but I've never been open to it either. If there is an afterlife, why are there ghosts?

Also, what are some other non Christian ideas about spirits? (Wiccans, Buddhists, ect) I always thought my mom was an Athiest, can you be an Athiest and believe in them?

Do you believe in any sort of paranormal activity, like ghosts, ufo’s, Bigfoot, etc, etc. If not, doesn’t that make the world a little less interesting to live in? I don’t necessarily believe in these things but they are fun to read about and ponder the possibilities.

Ok. I am confused. Whatever religion is practiced by your parents or the people who raised you is most likely going to be the religion you believe and practice. How is it that one relgion is better or more correct than another? Take Osama bi Laden, for example. If his parents were Christian, he probably would have practiced Christianity. Any of you - if you were raised to believe a certain thing, you will probably believe it. How can Christians say that a nonbeliever will go to hell when they have never even been introduced to the Christian god?

And is that what Conservative Christians want?

I posted about why legal gay marraige should be illegal according to CC. All they had to back it up was that their religion says it's wrong, and they vote for people with the same religion, etc.

Does this scare any other Americans?

Are they going to close the Buddhist temples next? Take away religious tax breaks to all non-Christian places of worship? Force children to pray to the Christian God before school lunches? When will the pushing of your religion on to your fellow Americans stop?

I personally believe ghost are Demons (who been around much longer then humans have) pretending to be sprits. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 (KJV)

Nonetheless Sprits, Angels and demons...What abilities and powers do they posses that have been documented in and out of the bible?

Read thoughts? See things humans can not? See the future, make up a pretend/fake future?
