It's a bible thumper thing. They have three or four ready made answers for every question with a few lines from the Bible.
It's much easier than having to think.

Some people exercising their freewill, will just go with what they learned (of which is supposedly divine direction (I might believe in God of my understanding, but since I was not there when God's words were interpreted by man and written down, and also was not there when these words translated each time, I am not for sure how closely these follow what was originally supposed to be God's teaching's)). Does that make them wrong? Not necessarily, I find that it turns some people off, their are those who if there is not some human thought about cause and effect just some canned material learned by rote, no matter how clearly it fits (or does not fit) the situation, will not receive the message.
A search engine has only search criteria given it by a user, to which it will go and look at web pages have those same words in its search area.
Computer software can be designed to what is called artificial intelligence. But it is not to that level yet. What it is, is that for certain questions it has programmed responses to those questions. Some of those AI (artificial intelligence) systems can be very in depth as to how they answer..
Yes, and no matter how much time and energy you want to use
to try and get them to see that somethings are not spelled out the way they think they are (as pertaining to a particular situation) , they will still not acknowledge that fact. So I don't waste my time.
I don't expect anything of anyone but for they to be who they will be. I can see there is an error in their thinking, but I don't need to waste my time, if they don't get it when I bring it to their attention.
Dealing with humans, means exercising some humanity. I am not the beginning and the end. I thought that way for some time.
I eventually realized I was just a piece of the puzzle. I am happy now "Just being a puzzle piece"..

Human beings are the only animal on this planet that kills for fun and only one of two or three that make love for fun, if that is free will i will go with the second.
A search engine only has the capacity to search within the parameters you provide, which, to an extent, so does software.
The bible is a story book, nothing more, but some people believe in this so hard that they let it rule every thing in their life, no matter what section you visit in this forum you will see a question on religion, this is like life, these people are not happy inhabiting their section they want to take over the whole thing.

Freewill is a human concept that has no place in religion, or in bureaucracy. Most peoples freewill is not used because they are so use to being told what to do and how to live.
Art is freewill, and this is a form of art. So all the people that use this service are using their freewill. If they want to preach the bible it is our freewill to ignore them

They choose to do so of their own free will. People who roboticly follow the Bible choose how to interpret ("Love thy fellow man" vs. "Attack homosexuals"). Free will does not mean that the choices need to be consistent or even interesting to others. Software doesn't have this quality; the same database and random seed should be able to create duplicate responses. Hardware reserves the right to sometimes break down in interesting ways, and software may suffer from bugs from programmers who have free will.

What has freewill have to do with 'cut and paste'? I guess it might be said that someone exercises freewill to cut and paste...
A search engine is programmed and has no sentience.
Software is to the point of developing personality and "programming itself".
Since the bible is a common denominator between many languages and cultures, it could conceivably be considered a common denominator in which to communicate on a derivative level.

Yeah, there are many religious people all over the world who understand the real meaning of those verse in Genesis. The Hebrew word for 'day' in this case could mean just an unspecified length of time. That's why later in that same account all of the creative 'days' were referred to as one day. Genesis 2:4

You have free will not to believe and I have the free will to believe. Because I believe in God I also believe in the Bible and all that is within it. That is why when asked a question that the Bible can best answer I'll answer with a Bible passage. Hope that doesn't go to far over your head.

The things referred in question are human made or designed or developed. God created things cant be compared with these. God (swt) created mankind and enabled them to create these tiny things.
Its not possible for any one to cover or know or grasp the vastness of God's knowledge or imagine the power of God (swt) who created universe and all other things.
For an example a blind person can not know that the sun is bright or it is more brighter than moon etc.

I don't think we have free will. If we are religious, we usually just adopted the religious beliefs of our parents. and look at the number of murders committed by men vs by women. There has to be some rational explanation for the difference, such as nature, nurture, or both. whatever the case, it just can't be coincidence!
